Monday, March 13

12:38 p.m. Someone spotted a boot with what appeared to be a bone sticking out of it alongside the road near the intersecti­on of Arkansas 340 and Lenham Lane. Police discovered it was a chew bone for a dog that had been left in a boot.

3:38 p.m. An Oakford Lane resident reported a vehicle sitting outside their home. Police found the truck was occupied by the resident’s son.

5:02 p.m. A vehicle’s doors were reportedly being opened and closed while it was driving near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Riordan Road.

6:56 p.m. Renters on Melinda Lane reportedly damaged the property and didn’t return their key after moving out.

Tuesday, March 14

7:59 a.m. Someone left their garage door open on Wentworth Drive.

3:50 p.m. A distressed-looking great dane was spotted running loose on Merritt Drive, no word on meddling kids. Police discovered the dog’s owners had installed an undergroun­d fence and the dog could not actually leave the property.

9:31 p.m. A reckless driver was reportedly heading into Bella Vista on U.S. Highway 71 in a red semi towing a flatbed loaded with cement barriers.

Wednesday, March 15

3:19 p.m. A moped fell off the trailer a Jeep was towing near the intersecti­on of U.S. highway 71 and Mercy Way.

4:17 p.m. A white Mustang was reportedly speeding and swerving on U.S. Highway 71.

6:11 p.m. Someone walked into the police department to report they ordered a computer on eBay from someone in Florida, and were instead sent a bottle of orange liquid.

11:10 p.m. An Allison Drive resident reported a truck drove past their house several times.

Thursday, March 16

7:03 a.m. Several cars parked at the soccer field across from Cooper Elementary School and people walked their kids across the street. This held up traffic on Mercy Way.

9:20 a.m. A wedding ring was reported stolen on Purton Lane.

11:18 p.m. Wayne Shipley, 49, was cited for a noise ordinance violation after neighbors reported music blaring from a home on Annette Lane. According to the dispatch report, Shipley yelled and cussed at police.

Friday, March 17

1:09 a.m. Hayden Judy, 23, and Jacob Ruskauff, 19, were arrested during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Kingsland Road and U.S. Highway 71 after Judy was reportedly driving nearly 90 miles per hour. Judy was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and failure to dim, while Ruskauff was cited with possession of drug parapherna­lia and minor in possession.

11:22 a.m. A black Chevrolet pickup was reportedly hauling a trailer at approximat­ely 100 miles per hour on U.S. Highway 71.

12:41 p.m. Krista Marple, 38, turned herself in on a warrant for a probation violation with an original charge of larceny.

1:25 p.m. A vehicle ended up in the ravine near the intersecti­on of Arkansas 279 and Bassingham Drive.

3:18 p.m. Police stopped an ATV rider on the nature trails near the intersecti­on of Manchester Drive and Dorking Lane.

5:41 p.m. A back door was broken and someone reportedly entered a home on Perry Lane.

7:41 p.m. A white van was reportedly driving slowly back and forth on Lambeth Drive.

9:32 p.m. Two people were reportedly casing Walgreens off U.S. Highway 71. Police discovered they were waiting for a ride.

Saturday, March 18

4:25 p.m. A rollover accident was reported on Highlands Blvd.

8:47 p.m. Shots were heard on Ashby Lane. Police discovered the sound was caused by fireworks.

Sunday, March 19

12:28 p.m. A mushroom hunter parked alongside the road near the intersecti­on of Highlands Blvd. and Kinross Drive.

5:39 p.m. A black Chevrolet almost hit someone on a motorcycle near the intersecti­on of Arkansas 340 and Lancashire Blvd.
