Kingsdale Squares

The Kingsdale Squares will dance at Riordan Hall on Monday, April 3, at 7 p.m. Jay Wright will be the caller. A Mainstreem workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. prior to the dance for those needing to brush up.

Anytime Stitchers

The Anytime Stitchers usually meet the third Wednesday of every month, except November and December. Anytime Stitchers are both new and experience­d quilters who meet to share techniques, project ideas and make quilts for charities. The group gathers at the First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista (across Tanyard Creek), Room 23 (watch for signs). All are welcome.

Needlework Club

The Bella Vista Needlework Club meets at 10 a.m. every Monday morning at Riordan Hall. The group includes those who knit, crochet, cross-stitch, weave, quilt or do various kinds of needlework. There is plenty of room, large tables and light.

Those without a POA photo ID card will need to pay $2.25 at the desk. The annual group fee is $2. The first Monday of each month the club has a meeting and refreshmen­ts.

Bella Vista Women’s Chorus

Love to sing? Bella Vista Women’s Chorus invites singers from the area to join them. All are welcome with no tryouts or experience needed. The chorus performs classical, pop, folk and show tunes for local clubs and events. Rehearsals are Mondays at 12:45 p.m. in the music room of Bella Vista First United Methodist Church.

Men’s Chorus

Is the shower the only venue for your singing talent? Come join the Bella Vista Men’s Chorus. The club meets at 6:30 p.m. each Monday in the choir room at First Methodist Church on Boyce Drive.

Sunrise Rotary Club

The Bella Vista Sunrise Rotary club has a breakfast meeting every Wednesday at 7 a.m. at the Concordia Main Building, 1 Concordia Drive, Bella Vista. On Wednesday, March 29, Dennis Ritchie will discuss the Trans-America Bike trip.

American Legion Post 341

The Willard E. “Rocky” Glidewell American Legion Post 341 of Bella Vista would like to remind the public of the all-you-can eat breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Breakfast includes pancakes, French toast, ham, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and juice and coffee. There is no cost, but donations are accepted.

Homesteade­rs

The Bella Vista Homesteade­rs will gather at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, at Concordia, 1 Concordia Drive, Bella Vista. Donna Ruhlman will present the program on cleaning the chemical-free way.

Blue Bird Society

The society invites people to visit to get an update on BVBBS and all things bluebird. The website has a place where people can become a member of BVBBS or just donate to the conservati­on of bluebirds. There is also is a section to purchase box sets or parts for installati­on in your yard.

Altrusa Internatio­nal

Altrusa meets at the River Grille in Bentonvill­e the first and third Tuesdays of the month. This is an internatio­nal women’s organizati­on whose focus is children’s literacy.

Bike Club

The Bella Vista Bike Club is an informal group of road cyclists who enjoy riding together. Their only rule is that helmets are required on all rides. Club members come in a wide variety of ages and skill levels. The monthly ride calendar can be found at bellavista­bikeclub.com. The bike club is active year round and may be addictive and beneficial to your health.

Woodcarver­s Club

The Woodcarver­s Club meets Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. at Riordan Hall. Guests are welcome and new members are accepted for a nominal yearly fee. Bella Vista has some very talented carvers and wood burners willing to teach anyone the art of carving or wood burning. The group is a nonprofit organizati­on.

Perfect Harmony

Perfect Harmony Women’s Barbershop Chorus meets from 4 to 5:30 p.m. every Monday in the choir room of the United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista. No previous experience or tryouts are required. Join this chorus for a fun and rewarding genre of singing.

Pride of the Ozarks Barbershop Chorus

Pride of the Ozarks Chorus will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays at

Arkansas Arts Academy High School, 506 W. Poplar St. in Rogers. Pride of the Ozarks is a member of the Society for the preservati­on and encouragem­ent of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, also known as the Barbershop Harmony Society. Pride of the Ozarks is an all-male a cappella singing organizati­on which enriches lives through singing. All male singers of good character are welcome to join.

Bass Club

The Bass Club is a catch-and-release bass-fishing club that holds monthly draw tournament­s on Bella Vista’s two largest lakes from March through November. They fish a team format with boaters and non-boaters paired together, weigh in a five-fish bag limit, and receive the same points for the position in which they finish.

The club meets at 7 p.m. the first Thursday of the month at Riordan Hall, 3 Riordan Drive, Bella Vista.

Decorative Artists

The Bella Vista Decorative Artists chapter meets the second Saturday of the month at Wishing Spring Gallery Studio, 8862 W. McNelly Road, Bentonvill­e. The meetings are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include a business meeting and painting session. All skill levels are welcome.

Village Art Club

The Village Art Club meets at 1 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Wishing Spring Gallery on McNelly Road. Each month one of the exhibitors from the gallery discusses the process and product they show and sell at the Wishing Spring Gallery, which is sponsored by the Art Club. Each fall, the VAC also sponsors the Bella Vista Arts and Crafts Festival, and the proceeds go to fund art scholarshi­ps and grants at local elementary schools to further Arts and Education.

The meeting is open to the public and informatio­n regarding membership is available at the meeting.
