Trump’s Twilight Zone

President Trump wants us to believe:

1. That we should spend 5 billion to 11 billion dollars for a wall, but granny’s meals-on-wheels has to go.

2. That climate change is false, but the phones (and possibly the microwaves) in Trump Tower have been bugged by Obama.

3. That the oldest, most-entitled group in America (rich, white males) deserves a tax cut.

4. That a president who lies at the drop of a hat can warn us to beware the career politician.

5. That even though the U.S. already spends more on the military than the next seven countries combined (including Russia and China), we need to increase military spending.

6. That prayer is not permitted in public schoools, but under the guise of “parental choice” taxes earmarked for education can be diverted to parochial schools.

7. That the Endowments for the Arts is nothing but “corporate welfare.”

8. That tax money should not be used for abortions, but can be used for missiles and bullets that kill hundreds of thousands of babies.

9. That “access” to health care really means something.

10. That the descendants of people who stole large portions of North America from its indigenous inhabitants (including Hispanics) should now deport 11 million, “illegal immigrants” back to where they came from, though some have lived and worked and paid taxes here for years.

11. That we need fewer diplomats and more soldiers.

12. That a swarmy, private school elitist who never set foot inside a public school before she took office knows exactly what public education needs.

Is this still America or are we living in the Twilight Zone?
