▲ Mother Nature joins Hobbs State Park-Conservati­on Area for a children’s reading, “Dandelions — Stars in the Grass.” Readings begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by handson nature-craft activities. Children of all ages are welcome; most stories target children ages 3-6.

Wednesday, April 5

▲ Hill N Dale Hiking Club of Bella Vista has an upcoming hike. The hike is on Wednesday, April 5, and will be 3-5 miles of easy/ moderate hiking at Dogwood Canyon in Lampe, Mo. Friday, April 7

▲ The Knights of Columbus present the 25th annual Lenten Fish Fry, April 7. Social Hall opens at 5 p.m. and serving begins at 6 p.m. The menu includes catfish, potato salad, coleslaw, hushpuppie­s and dessert. Guests are welcome. Tickets are $10 per person. Tickets are necessary and can be purchased from St. Bernard Catholic Church Office at 1 Saint Bernard Lane, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased at the Parish Hall on Sundays 10-10:45 a.m. For more informatio­n, call 855-9069.

Thursday, April 20

▲ Riordan Hall presents the Senior Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Around 50 vendors will be present. Lunch is provided by Concordia, and includes an outdoor grilling of hot dogs with chips, drinks, etc. Admission is free to all.
