Carol G. Greenly

Carol Greenly, 96, formerly of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, March 13, 2017, in Cedar Park, Texas. She was born Dec. 3, 1920, in Huron, S.D., to Oscar and Evelyn Olson.

Upon graduating from high school and Northwest College of Commerce in 1938, she held various administra­tive positions prior to her marriage to Floyd Greenley on Jan. 14, 1961. Thereafter she resided in Brainerd, Minn., Ubandale, Iowa, Bella Vista, Ark., and most recently in Cedar Park, Texas.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista since 1978.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, in September 2003.

She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Olson of Huron, S.D.; a stepson, Owen, and his wife Sandy and their children Christi, Tim and Steve; and three great-grandchild­ren.

Her memory will be honored at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, with a simple service in the chapel at First Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Dr., Bella Vista.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Gideon’s Internatio­nal for Bibles or to the First United Methodist Church.

Gerald Peter Schultz

Gerald Peter Schultz, 74, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e, Ark. He was born June 25, 1942, in Detroit, Mich., to Pete and Arlene Hampe Schultz.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include many family members and friends.

Gwen G. Walker

Gwen G. Walker, 85, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, April 16, 2017, at her home. She was born Nov. 18, 1931, in Walters, Okla., to George Lewis Grimes and Irene Henderson Grimes.

She worked for the Department of Defense at the Pentagon in 1950-1951. After 22 years as a supervisor for Hewlett-Packard in Colorado Springs, Colo., she retired in 1986. She was active with the Campfire Girls organizati­on in Colorado Springs, and enjoyed traveling, camping and working on genealogy.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Bill E. Grimes.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Milton Mayes Walker of Bella Vista; a son, Larry Lynn Walker and wife Kathryne of Colorado Springs; three daughters, Rebecca Rae Walker of Bella Vista, Karen Kay Johnson and husband Keith of Beaverton, Ore., and Deanna Denise Walker of Colorado Springs; seven grandchild­ren; and 13 great-grandchild­ren.

Private graveside service and burial will be at the National Cemetery in Fayettevil­le, Ark.

A Celebratio­n of Live Service was held Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the Bella Vista Baptist Church.

Arrangemen­ts were under the direction of the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to Bella Vista Baptist Church Youth Fund.
