Theresa E. Cunningham
Theresa E. Cunningham, 90, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Thursday, May 25, 2017, in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Jan. 22, 1927, in San Fernando, Calif., to David Nemback and Dora Koerner.
She was a telephone operator who changed jobs to become a purchasing agent for the Veterans Authority in Sepuveda, Calif., until retirement. After retirement she and her husband, Jack, moved to Knoxville, Tenn., then to Bella Vista.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Cunningham of Bella Vista and Jack Cunningham of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Jason, Kristin, Ayrin, Victoria; and five great-grandchildren, Kohdy, Kevin, Blake, Landan, Brayden.
Her ashes will be placed with her husband’s at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark.
Leslie Graham Ray Ewing
Leslie Graham Ray Ewing, 76, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, May 24, 2017. He was born May 6, 1941, in Laredo, Texas, to Margie and Leslie Ewing.
He was in the U.S. Naval Reserve while in high school in Laredo. After graduating high school in 1959, he entered the U.S. Air Force and served for eight years during the Vietnam War. He was stationed on Guam, where his daughter, Kathy, was born and second son, Bobby, was conceived. He was trained as a microwave-equipment specialist and, upon his tour completion, returned to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, where he completed his enlistment as an instructor of cryptographic equipment.
After leaving the Air Force, he worked for an electronics firms in the Dallas area (LTV Electro Systems and later, E-Systems) for 30 years, during which time he served a stint in 1969 as a technical representative in Vietnam. He retired from Raytheon Company in 2000. He and Jackie retired to Bella Vista in September 2006.
He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 28 years of marriage, Jackie Ann.
Survivors include four children, Steve Ewing of Garland, Texas, Kathy Adreon of Coweta, Okla., Bobby Ewing of Garland, and Chris Ewing of Wylie, Texas; two stepchildren, Tonie Rys of Plano, Texas, and Mike Broberg of Richardson, Texas; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Tony Ewing of Round Rock, Texas; and a sister, Ginny Altheimer of Denver, Colo.
Funeral service was Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista. Burial followed at Bella Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Robert ‘Bob’ Miller Trager
Robert “Bob” Miller Trager, 80, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice
Legacy Village in Bentonville,
Ark. He was born Aug.28,
1936, to Eleanor Renner and Charles Pete Trager.
He began his military service in the Army National Guard, and continued his service as a member of the American Legion Post 341, in Bella Vista, where he served with the Honor Guard. He was employed with Ford Motor Company for more than 35 years. His passions included cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, supporting them for more than 40 years, including as president of the Red Coat Organization. He was passionate about all things Pitt State, was an active alumnus, and a devout Sigma Tau Gamma member. He loved hiking, fishing, ping-pong, and kettle fires.
Survivors include a son, Clifford Trager and his wife Alice, of Parkville, Mo.; two daughters, Kimberly Gill and her husband Ward, of Rogers, and Cyndie Jacks, of Bella Vista; a sister, Marla Daniel and her husband Gary, of Blue Eye, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Lori Knowles, of Portland, Ore., and Holly Knowles of Vancouver, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017, in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church in downtown Rogers, Ark. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Bob’s Life will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017, with the Rev. Michael Mattox and the Rev. Sandra Wanasek.
Graveside funeral service will beat 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2017, in Oaklawn Cemetery located on Black Bob Road in Olathe, Kansas.
Memorials may be sent to Circle of Life Hospice Legacy Village in Bentonville, Ark., or Stephen Ministry at First United Methodist Church in Rogers.
