United Lutheran Church

Calling all volunteers July 1721. Teachers, leaders, tech gurus, artists, helpers, students, followers of Jesus — join during VBS and sign up to volunteer to help during that week. There will be lots of fun to have and things to do.

The United Lutheran Scholarship Fund needs your financial support. We have four college students (Otto Troutner, Claire Redlaczyk, Dylan Rondon and Kelsey Sojka) who have qualified for scholarships next school year. Please consider contributing to this fund to help these four worthy students with their education. There are scholarship offering envelopes in every pew.

Now that construction is complete on House No. 5, we can go take a look at “God’s Work Our Hands.” Workers will start on No. 6 very soon and when that is done they will stop building homes. They can have nine children in each home and they are treated as families. They also have a preschool there now and a school bus takes the other children to school every day. There is lots of room for the kids to run around and play outdoors and there is a garden. Don’t forget to save all Best Choice labels again this year (can get them at Allens and Harps grocery stores) and Marge Taylor gets “lots of them” at the Recycling Center in Bella Vista, so “thanks to her.”

United Lutheran Church is located at 100 Cooper Road, Bella Vista.
