Monday, May 29

5:59 a.m. Police received a report of what sounded like a rifle shot near Burnham Drive. The sound turned out to be a transforme­r blowing.

10:34 a.m. A road-rage incident was reported on U.S. Highway 71.

12:38 p.m. A backpack leaf blower and socket set were reportedly stolen from a Cheddar Circle home.

Tuesday, May 30

1:39 p.m. Jade Johnson, 44, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear with original charges of driving on a suspended license, driving while intoxicate­d and contempt of court for a supervisio­n violation on Haley Road.

9:46 p.m. A vehicle was reportedly playing very loud music in the Tanyard Creek parking lot. People were dancing around the vehicle with flashlight­s.

10:38 p.m. John Wolfe, 61, was arrested and charged with domestic assault in the third degree after he was involved in a disturbanc­e on Laurenceki­rk Lane.

Wednesday, May 31

2:37 a.m. Someone was reportedly walking back and forth on Dillow Place. Police discovered the individual was a resident searching for his cat that got out of the house.

9:20 a.m. Police received a walk-in report of a stolen 9mm Springfiel­d firearm.

12:58 p.m. Someone’s tree was cut down on Theodore Drive.

1:02 p.m. Constructi­on workers were reportedly playing loud music on Castleford Drive. Police found the complaint was unfounded.

2:56 p.m. A Kawasaki Mule was reported stolen from the Carroll Electric substation on Weybridge Drive.

4:56 p.m. An air conditione­r unit was stolen from a Hillswick Drive property.

8:11 p.m. A white 2015 Mercedes Benz C300 was reported missing from a Stonehaven Drive resident’s garage.

9:06 p.m. Police explained to four juveniles that Metfield Park was closed.

11:12 p.m. A Cheddar Place resident reported hearing someone on their roof.

Thursday, June 1

12:25 a.m. Two individual­s reportedly may have stolen items from Casey’s General Store at the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highways 279 and 340.

10:52 p.m. An intoxicate­d individual was talked out of driving home from Nantucket Drive.

Friday, June 2

2 a.m. Jorge Fernandez-Mendoza, 25, was arrested and charged with public intoxicati­on and careless driving during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 340 and Buckstone Drive.

5:15 p.m. A Peter Keys Lane resident’s UPS package was delivered to the wrong home, and those residents denied receiving it. Police were able to recover the package and no criminal charges were filed.

5:47 p.m. A group of kids reportedly found plastic baggies, a syringe and a belt in the woods near the Metfield pool.

6:28 p.m. A grey John Deer lawn mower was stolen from an Allison Drive resident’s front yard.

Saturday, June 3

12:31 a.m. Loud people were reported near the Lake Avalon swimming dock.

2:39 a.m. Sergio Saenz, 22, was arrested and charged with public intoxicati­on after he was reportedly laying in the road on Portsmouth Drive.

12:18 p.m. A bicycle tire was in the road near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Trafalgar Road.

10:27 p.m. An Oxford Lane house was reportedly shooting off fireworks.

11:50 p.m. A golf trailer with a golf cart on it and a flat tire was unattended on the side of U.S. Highway 71, north of Town Center.

Sunday, June 4

12:22 a.m. Two people were reportedly sleeping on a dock by the Lake Avalon Dam.

2:32 a.m. William Mayo, 24, was arrested on a warrant for theft of property on Sutherland Drive.

4:15 a.m. A Hartlepool Drive resident reported someone knocked on their door.

8:58 a.m. A Scots Circle resident reported it looked like someone tried to pry open their sliding glass door.

12:13 p.m. Aaron Guidroz, 29, was arrested on a MacDonald County, Mo., warrant for fraudulent­ly stopping payment.

8:19 p.m. A man was running barefoot on Hampstead Lane.

9:10 p.m. Norman Fahad, 29, was arrested on a Rogers warrant during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Pinion Drive.
