St. Bernard Catholic Church
Jan Stemkoski’s Celebration Singers, an internationally known Christian music ministry, will present a communitywide concert at 7 p.m. June 30, at St. Bernard Catholic Church. The concert is free of charge, but a free-will offering will be taken. Concert attendees will be treated to contemporary Christian music, uplifting praise and worship, personal testimony and prayer. Featuring 10 singers and a 12-piece orchestra, the Celebration Singers will inspire and bless as they share the gospel through a dynamic musical celebration. Bring a friend or two. The choir can use each and everyone, no matter what your talent.
Daily morning Mass is celebrated on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8:30 a.m. There is an evening Mass on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. Mass is celebrated on Saturdays (Sunday vigil) at 5 p.m. and on Sundays at 9 a.m.

The Little Pantry needs your help. Organizers are running low on stock again for the Little Pantry. Donors are blessing so many with the pantry that organizers are asking for canned goods, toiletries, etc. A list of possible donations is located in the narthex.
Dee Saddenwasser will be taking over some donations of paper cups, napkins, etc., next week to New Beginnings. If you have anything you’d like to donate, contact Dee. She will go to New Beginnings on June 14 or 15, depending on donations received.

New Wine Ministry
New Wine Ministry meets every Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Pastor Vincent Xavier ministers the Word, with Ken and Peggy Wagner leading the worship. There will be coffee fellowship before and after each service.
Pastor Patricia Xavier leads a study on spiritual warfare and deliverance held at 7 p.m. Thursdays at the same location. The study is based on her book “Deliverance — The Christian’s Bill of Rights.”
Women of Substance meets at 2:30 p.m. the first Saturday of every month. A buffet luncheon is served which is followed by one of the women of the church giving her testimony.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church
A mission at the church known as Stamped With A Prayer makes hand-made cards the first Wednesday of each month. This month their mission just gave $1,000 to the Bella Vista Fire Department for meals for the firefighters. The cards are $2.50 each and 100 percent of the purchase goes to the mission. They also remake pre-owned handmade cards to give to nursing homes and other groups. Five times a year they go to Brookfield Assisted Living and make pre-designed cards with the residents.
The Lutheran Hour is broadcast each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on radio station KURM-FM (100.3) and KURM-AM (790).
The Shepherd’s Food pantry is open each Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Organizers are asking for donations of bar soap, flour, oil, sugar or the funds to purchase these items. A container for donations is in the church narthex.
Those unable to attend a Sunday morning worship service, Bella Vista Lutheran Church at 1990 Forest Hills Blvd. has a Saturday night service at 5:37 p.m. This is a relaxed, casual worship experience with contemporary music.

Unitarian Universalists
Sunday June 18, there will be a discussion of two recent talks: “Growth and Impact of the Latino Population in NWA” and “UU, Our History of Reformation Has Caught up with Us!” A short congregational meeting follows the service.
Sunday School is available for children with a Unitarian Universalist adaptation of Jerome Berryman’s book “Spirit Play” as the primary resource. We structure the morning based on the Montessori approach. As in Montessori, the key elements are the classroom environment and the teachers. These elements free the children to work at their own pace on their own activities after an initial lesson.
The Unitarian Universalists of Benton County meet at 1110 S.E. Evergreen St. (Little Einstein Montessori School) in Bentonville near the southeast corner of 14th and J streets. The Sunday service, which begins at 11 a.m., is preceded by coffee and social time beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Highland Christian Church
Highland Christian Church (The Happening Place) meets for worship with communion at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday.

Village Bible Church
Wednesday June 14, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers. A potluck fellowship dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the community is always welcome. At 6:30 p.m. there will be singing, devotions and prayer in the Worship Center, and this evening a representative from The Gideons International will provide a brief update on their work. The community is always welcome. Nursery for infants and toddlers is available.
Sunday June 18, Sunday School classes are offered for all ages at 9 a.m. followed by the worship service at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Mark Voll’s sermon title is “Joseph’s Legacy,” a Father’s Day message with a text of Matthew 1:18-25. Infant and toddler nursery and Children’s Church for kids are offered as well, and the community is always warmly welcomed.
Tuesday, June 20, at 7 p.m. a men’s Bible study titled Israel in Prophecy will meet in the Fellowship Hall and men from the community are always welcome. A ladies’ KniTTogether ministry and the White Cross Women’s Mission ministry also meet at 7 p.m. The ladies enjoy informal fellowship while working on projects that benefit needy children and adults in our area as well as a hospital in Congo. These are open to any ladies who would like to come and learn more about these ministries.
Looking ahead to the last week of June, Vacation Bible School “Ocean Commotion: Diving into Noah’s Flood,” will be held Monday through Friday evenings, June 26-30, from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. daily, for children entering grades K through 6 as of this fall. Registration forms are available in the church office or you may call the church at 876-5764 to register. Preregistration is helpful but not required.

First United Methodist Church
The Bella Vista Women’s Chorus meets each Monday from 12:45 to 3 p.m. in the church Music Room. This group performs a variety of music in concerts throughout the year and is open to any woman in the community who enjoys singing.

Friends Plus Healthy Living meets at 9 a.m. Wednesdays at Lake Bella Vista in the parking lot along U.S. Highway 71 to walk for about an hour. Different groups walk at different paces while sharing in fellowship and encouragement. About 10:30 a.m. meet in the Chapel to share tips on making healthier lifestyle choices.
