▲ This month’s Third Thursday House Concert at The Artist Retreat Center is Joshin’ the Giants. This quartet has been performing since 2012 and have released four CDs. Based in southwest Missouri, they are known for blending a variety of genres with Ozark Mountains roots. ▲ Carole Linebarger Harter, granddaugh­ter of the Linebarger Brothers, who opened the Bella Vista Summer Resort on June 20, 1917, will present a program at 2 p.m. at the Bella Vista Historical Museum. The public is invited to attend. Admission is free. A temporary exhibit about the Linebarger family is on display at the museum for the months of May and June. The museum is located at the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Kingsland Road.
