The 12th annual Bella Vista Animal Shelter golf tournament will be held Saturday, July 12, at Kingswood Golf Course beginning at 8 a.m. The entry deadline is Wednesday, July 5, with a maximum of 36 teams. Entry includes lunch, goodie bags, drinks, prizes, and a golf cart. Entry prices for POA members with an annual green fee and SL or PC is $30; POA member without the annual green fee with SL or PC is $52; POA member with no annual green fee or SL is $69; and guest fee is $78. Firecracker 2 Lady Scramble
The Bella Vista Women’s Golf Club annual Firecracker 2 Lady Scramble is Thursday, June 29, at Kingswood Golf Course. This tournament is open to all BVWGC members, both playing and social members. The social membership fee is only $10. Firecracker entry and membership forms are available at www.bvwgc.com. Don’t miss out on the fun. The entry deadline is June 22.. Courtesy Van drivers needed
The Bella Vista Courtesy Van provides courtesy transportation for persons in the community who can no longer drive due to age and/or health. It is an all-volunteer service operating five days a week with two to three vans transporting Bella Vistans for medical appointments, shopping and personal services. The Courtesy Van is in urgent need for men or women drivers who are younger than 77 and can give a couple of days of their time a month. The area of service is Bella Vista, Jane Wal-Mart, Bentonville and Rogers. If interested in volunteering, contact Bill Puskas at 402-9811571.
Gamble Cemetery Association
The Gamble Cemetery Association is asking for donations for the upkeep of the Gamble Cemetery. Make checks payable to the Gamble Cemetery Fund. These donations are tax deductible. Women’s Five-Hole Golf Meet ’N Greet
Any ladies interested in a no pressure (casual, with no handicap) golf league are invited to play at Brittany Golf Course on Mondays. The score is kept for the first five holes, then most continue on for the nine holes. Both riding carts and pull carts are available.

St. Bernard Ladies Golf League
This group is looking for any women interested in joining a Wednesday golf league. They have a friendly, competitive 18-hole group and a social nine-hole group. The season is from April to October, which includes a weekly $1 individual or team event, a fun Guest Day and an awards banquet. Oldies Golf Group seeks members

Women’s Nine-Hole Golf Association
The Bella Vista Women’s NineHole Golf Association is accepting applications for the 2017 golf season. Golf rounds are played on Monday mornings through Oct. 23 on Kingswood and Berksdale golf courses. Members sign up by Tuesday to play the following Monday with four flights set by members’ handicaps.
Membership dues are $25 plus $5.50 handicap fee and an optional $2 for hole-in-one. Applications are available in the Kingsdale pro shop and on the bvv9 wga.com website.
Men’s Nine-Hole Golf Association
The Bella Vista Men’s Nine-Hole Golf Association is accepting applications for new and past members for the upcoming 2017 season. They play on Wednesday mornings, April through October, with reserved tee times and four handicapped flights on the Berksdale and Kingswood courses. Banquets are held in the spring and fall. Golf Association taking applications
The Men’s Golf Association is now accepting new members to join their 2017 Tuesday golf league. The MGA was established in 1972 and is the largest continuing golf group in Bella Vista. New for 2017, the MGA is open to POA members and nonmembers. The men’s league ends the last Tuesday in October. The MGA offers an organized format for golfers of all ages, abilities and handicaps, easy weekly online sign-up, weekly prize payouts and hole-in-one pool (included with $65 dues), a players Cup competition and support for local charities.
