Summer Reading — Tommy Terrific

Prepare to be amazed with marvelous magician Tommy Terrific. Be at the library at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 29, for a hilarious and interactiv­e magic show.

Summer Speaker Series

Curious about all of the earthquake­s we’ve had lately? Chris Moyer, professor of geology at Northwest Arkansas Community College, will be here at 6 p.m. Monday, July 3, to discuss the geology and earthquake­s in the region.

Hot and Cold Teen Night

Hot and Cold Night — Friday, June 30, at 5:30 p.m., we will be playing around with temperatur­e extremes.

Summer Reading Book Club

We have a Summer Reading Book Club for adults every Thursday morning at 10 a.m. through the end of the Summer Reading Program on Thursday, July 13. This very casual group will get together to meet other participan­ts in the program and share the books they have been reading.

Freegal Music

The library has Freegal music. This service, available through our website, allows our patrons to listen to and download music for free. Using your library card you can access this service.

June’s displays are provided by Pat Kirby. Anyone interested in displaying a collection should contact Rebecca at 479-855-1753.

Floral arrangemen­t

June’s floral arrangemen­t was designed and provided by Marilyn Roche of the Bella Vista Garden Club. Each month, a member of the Bella Vista Garden Club creates an original floral design to be displayed for patron enjoyment.

Hours of operation

Regular library hours are 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with weekend hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The Bella Vista Public Library is located just east of Town Center off Lancashire Boulevard (Arkansas Highway 340 East, turn at the Bella Vista Baptist Church) at 11 Dickens Place.
