Monday, July 31

8:32 a.m. Someone in a red pickup truck was sleeping at the visitors center off U.S. Highway 71.

9:44 a.m. Police served Tarah Boudreaux, 28, with warrants for contempt of court for fines and costs and failure to appear related to a domestic battery charge. The warrants were served on Ayr Drive.

12:22 p.m. Police received reports of fake $20 bills at the All in One along U.S. Highway 71.

12:43 p.m. Guy Herford, 61, turned himself in on a warrant for harassing communicat­ions.

3:19 p.m. Police received a walk-in report of a possible stolen grille from a vehicle.

Tuesday, Aug. 1

12:06 a.m. Police talked with someone who fell asleep at the Tanyard Creek Nature Trail.

2:22 a.m. Police asked a Keighley Lane resident to stop working in their barn, where they were reportedly making excessive noise.

8:17 a.m. A business sign on Riordan Road was reportedly hit by a vehicle. The driver came back later in the morning and explained they were dodging a deer the previous night.

12:20 p.m. Police talked with a resident who walked into the department to ask about how to mark a bicycle in case it is stolen.

3:18 p.m. Gary Boyd, 35, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to appear with original charges of driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance, criminal contempt and two counts of failure to appear.

6:37 p.m. People were reportedly riding dirtbikes on the bicycle trails near Buckingham Drive.

9:22 p.m. William Stonick, 69, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicate­d and careless driving. Police stopped Stonick after receiving a report of a possible drunk driver in a twodoor car.

Wednesday, Aug. 2

12:13 a.m. Chloe Jordan, 21, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicate­d after she was spotted driving on Chelsea Road with a flat tire.

7:43 a.m. Constructi­on workers were reportedly playing loud music on Pithlochry Circle.

Thursday, Aug. 3

1:17 a.m. Police cited four juveniles at Blowing Springs RV Park with minor in possession and released them to their guardians.

10:31 a.m. An outboard motor was stolen from a POA boat at the Lake Norwood boat launch.

12:15 p.m. Someone turned in a wallet to the Police Department.

5:49 p.m. Michelle Rich, 40, turned herself in on a warrant for domestic battery in the third degree.

6:19 p.m. Tiffany Mcabee, 25, was arrested on a Rogers warrant after she was involved in a traffic collision near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Hampstead Road.

6:41 p.m. A trio of juveniles was reportedly shooting Airsoft guns from the gravel pit at passing cars near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Trafalgar Road.

7:23 p.m. People on the golf course were reportedly being loud near Dogwood Drive.

Friday, Aug. 4

2:12 a.m. Harvey Downs, 28, and Alyssa Saylor, 20, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance after police investigat­ed suspicious activity on Kenilworth Drive.

9:29 a.m. Billy Cole, 61, was arrested on a Benton County warrant after police responded to a call about a man walking and looking confused near the intersecti­on of Scotsdale Drive and Scotsdale Lane.

4:04 p.m. Mark Campbell, 58, was arrested and charged with public intoxicati­on and criminal trespassin­g after he was reportedly ringing someone’s doorbell on Halstead Lane.

8:07 p.m. A vehicle ended up in the ravine near the intersecti­on of Chelsea Road and Lancashire Boulevard.

10:39 p.m. Brandan Horton, 23, was arrested on out of town warrants when Bella Vista police pulled over a suspicious vehicle that matched the descriptio­n of one involved in a hit and run near Lowell.

Saturday, Aug. 5

12:57 a.m. Police seized a large amount of alcohol from a residence and stopped a party that would have included under-age drinking on Millsap Circle.

8:10 a.m. Firefighte­rs went back to Suits Us Drive to put out a training fire that had rekindled.

12:05 p.m. Kids reportedly shot bottle rockets in the street near the intersecti­on of Newquay Lane and Newland Lane. They agreed to stop when police explained they were violating the law.

Sunday, Aug. 6

2:35 a.m. Don Christophe­r Irvine, 18, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug parapherna­lia after police responded to a report of teenagers partying on the Lake Avalon dam.

1:24 p.m. Police helped someone change a tire on U.S. Highway 71.

2:03 p.m. Firefighte­rs responded to a structure fire on Neffwood Lane.

2:44 p.m. Elita Ferrell, 52, was arrested and charged with battery in the third degree after police assisted the Fire Department with a closet fire on Neffwood Drive. Ferrell was reportedly involved in a verbal altercatio­n regarding the fire when police were called to the scene.
