Bella Vista Andante Music Club
The Bella Vista Andante Music Club will be hosting its “New Beginnings” luncheon on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at noon. All who believe in the power of music and wish to share the joy are invited. It will be held at the Highland Christian Church (DOC) located at 1500 Forest Hills Blvd. (Hwy 279) in Bella Vista. Following lunch, a special presentation, “American Women Composers,” will be given by Gloria Febro Grilk, currently serving the American Federation of Music Clubs on the Council of Presidents.

Kingsdale Squares
The Kingsdale Squares will not dance, Monday, Sept. 4. The next dance will be held Sept. 11 at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. There will be a mainstream workshop at 6:30 p.m. prior to the dance.

Bella Vista Decorative Artists
The Bella Vista Decorative Artists meet at 9 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month to have a business meeting and painting session at Wishing Spring Studio (8862 W. McNelly Road — next to Walgreens).
The purpose of the chapter is to stimulate interest and appreciation for the art of painting. BVDA does a variety of service projects. This year, we are working with the Village House in Bella Vista, Children’s Shelte, and Memory Boxes for local hospitals. Each month BVDA has a chapter member or a visiting national artist teach an art project in acrylics, oils, watercolor, or mixed mediums. Painters of all skill levels make up the BVDA Chapter. Visitors are welcome.

TOPS Chapter 532 meets every Saturday morning at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. Weigh in time is 8:309 a.m. with the meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Visitors and new members are welcome.

Sunrise Rotary Club
The Bella Vista Sunrise Rotary Club has a breakfast meeting every Wednesday at 7 a.m. in the Concordia Main Building, 1 Concordia Drive, Bella Vista. Guests are welcome.

The nesting season for this year’s bluebirds is just about over. The Bella Vista Bluebird Society needs your backyard counts for birds that have fledged. Report not only bluebirds but any species that has fledged in your yard or trail.

Pride of the Ozarks Barbershop Chorus
Pride of the Ozarks Chorus will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays at Arkansas Arts Academy High School, 506 W. Poplar St., Rogers. Pride of the Ozarks is a member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, also known as the Barbershop Harmony Society. Pride of the Ozarks is an all-male a Capella singing organization.

Women’s Chorus
Bella Vista Women’s Chorus invites singers from the area to join them. All are welcome with no tryouts or experience needed. The chorus performs classical, pop, folk and show tunes. Rehearsals are at 12:45 p.m. Mondays in the music room of the Bella Vista First United Methodist Church. The chorus is available to sing at club meetings and events.
