Monday, Sept. 25

7:52 p.m. A young individual with a tattooed neck and arm reportedly put on clothes at Goodwill and then took off on foot.

11:38 p.m. Police arrested Taylor Bailey, 20, during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 340 and Cooper Road on a charge of driving while intoxicate­d.

Tuesday, Sept. 26

12:32 p.m. A Halifax Lane resident reported two shovels and a pick were removed from their truck overnight. The reporting party called back roughly two hours later to inform police they learned a friend had borrowed the tools without asking.

3:38 a.m. Firefighte­rs responded to a fire alarm on Clubhouse Drive. It proved to be a false alarm caused by an early morning power outage.

Wednesday, Sept. 27

12:38 a.m. A dog that appeared to have been hit in the head appeared at a resident’s front door. Police met the individual with the dog at the animal shelter.

1:27 p.m. Richard Fry, 59, was arrested on a warrant for obstructin­g government­al operations on Amesbury Drive.

4:37 p.m. Shandra Freeston, 40, was arrested on an out-of-town warrant during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Arkansas Highway 340.

5:26 p.m. Mill Phyllis, 49, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicate­d during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Trafalgar Road and Greetham Lane.

Thursday, Sept. 28

3:41 p.m. Someone found a needle and bag near the intersecti­on of Sandhurst Drive and Didcot Lane.

5:51 p.m. Police received a complaint of 14 cars parked on Lulworth Lane, which proved difficult to get around. Upon investigat­ion, officers learned people were there for a funeral.

Friday, Sept. 29

1:30 a.m. Firefighte­rs put out a shed fire on Barra Lane.

6:24 a.m. Police arrested Jacob McChristia­n, 25, and charged him with domestic battery in the third degree after he was involved in a disturbanc­e on Hollow Way Drive.

7:06 p.m. Loud rap music was reported near the intersecti­on of Spanker Road and Shelly Drive.

Saturday, Sept. 30

12:14 a.m. An intoxicate­d male reportedly punched a repossessi­on worker who was repossessi­ng his vehicle on Annette Lane. According to the dispatch report, the involved parties talked with each other and no charges were filed.

1:57 p.m. Brian Sherley, 31, was arrested on a Bentonvill­e warrant during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Dartmoor Road and Blowing Springs Road.

7:55 p.m. Firefighte­rs talked to residents about an illegal controlled burn on Sandwick Drive. The residents agreed to extinguish their fire.

8:06 p.m. A mother dog and puppies were removed from a Melissa Lane resident’s garage.

8:08 p.m. Police received a report that someone hit a very large object in the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 71 near Dairy Queen. Police discovered a mattress had fallen into the road.

Sunday, Oct. 1

12:30 a.m. A driver struck a deer near the entrance to the welcome center off U.S. Highway 71.

10:30 a.m. Police removed a snake from a Morpet Lane home.

12:10 p.m. An Ettington Lane resident reported smelling marijuana smoke. The smoke was caused by a controlled burn in the area.

4:24 p.m. Cattle were reportedly walking on Brian Lane.
