Tuesday Bias Bowling

Winners Oct. 3 were: first, Art Hamilton, Richard Meyer, and Connie Knafla; second, Mabel Ashline, Lynda Delap, Harlene Meyer, and Roy Knafla.

Bias bowling is played every Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in Riordan Hall at Kingsdale. Bias bowling is similar to indoor boccie ball and is played on a mat. Come try it out. No previous experience is needed.

Wednesday Night Couples’ Bridge

Winners Oct. 4 were: Men —first, Gary Nelson; second, John Ronck; third, Bill Boucher. Women — first, Lois Taylor; second Jackie Nelson; third, Joyce Tyson. Hosts this week were Bob and Joyce Tyson.

Hosts for Oct. 11 will be Art Hamilton and Marie Ryan. Play begins at 6 p.m. every Wednesday at Riordan Hall. All couples are welcome and there are no reservatio­ns or weekly obligation.

Thursday Walk-In Bridge Group

Club play is at Papa Mike’s every Thursday. Plan to arrive by 10:15 a.m. with play beginning at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be ordered during game play. No sign-up is necessary and all are welcome to play.

St. Bernard Games & Goodies

Come and spend an afternoon playing your favorite game. This group welcomes singles, doubles and full tables; experience­d players and those who want to learn a new game. New to the area and need to find some card-playing friends? We would love to have you.

Play begins at 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., the second Thursday of each month at St. Bernard Parish Hall, off Lancashire Boulevard, east of Casey’s General Store. We have cards and score sheets for many games. Admission is $1 per person with funds going to local charities and sponsored by St. Bernard Women’s Club. Tables and beverages are provided. We would welcome snacks to share with the group.
