Monday Oct. 2

11:21 a.m. Josiah Kelley, 21, turned himself in on a warrant for contempt of court related to fines and costs, with original charges of minor in possession and drinking in public.

1:07 p.m. Devante Maurice, 20, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to appear related to a traffic violation.

2:37 p.m. Dump trucks working near the intersecti­on of Marionet Lane and Marionet Circle were reportedly driving too fast.

8:09 p.m. A stop sign at the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 340 and East Chelsea Road was reportedly struck by a vehicle. The Street Department was notified.

Tuesday, Oct. 3

6:49 p.m. A man in a blue checkered shirt and shorts reportedly rang a doorbell on Selside Lane. The individual appeared to be holding a gun behind his back, according to the dispatch report, but was gone when police arrived.

7:10 p.m. Five gunshots were reportedly heard near Wembly Lane.

Wednesday, Oct. 4

2:57 p.m. Savannah Marks, 22, turned herself in on a warrant for criminal contempt, with original charges of theft and obstructio­n.

5:53 p.m. A vehicle wreck was reported near the intersecti­on of Bassingham Drive and Arkansas Highway 279.

7:43 p.m. Michael Rudd, 38, was arrested on a Rogers warrant when police responded to a report of threats on Pease Drive.

Thursday, Oct. 5

1:00 a.m. Philip Hurshman, 29, was arrested on a Benton County warrant during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Kingsland Road.

9:12 a.m. Firefighte­rs responded to a possible electric fire on Burton Lane. The smoke smell, according to the dispatch report, proved to be a faulty TV.

7:40 p.m. A white car was reportedly circling the parking lot of the First United Methodist Church on Boyce Drive. Police discovered an older brother teaching his younger brother how to park.

11:31 p.m. Police received a barking dog complaint on Beckfoot Lane.

Friday, Oct. 6

7:45 a.m. Firefighte­rs secured a downed power line on Arnold Lane.

4:16 p.m. A garage door was damaged on Lyndhurst Drive.

4:19 p.m. A blind person was reportedly walking on the shoulder of Arkansas Highway 340.

4:53 p.m. Someone in a silver car was reportedly texting and driving.

9:25 p.m. Tara Black, 25, was arrested on an out-of-town warrant during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.

Saturday, Oct. 7

12:50 a.m. A Lynton Lane resident reported hearing knocking on the side of their house. Police searched the area and, according to the dispatch report, suspected the noise may have been caused by trees in the yard.

3:45 p.m. A silver Dodge pickup truck was producing lots of exhaust smoke on Riordan Road.

4:19 p.m. A Newnham Lane resident reported a neighbor was harassing their dogs.

5:59 p.m. Something flew off a trailer and struck the vehicle driving behind it on Arkansas Highway 430.

Sunday, Oct 8

12:14 a.m. A vehicle was severely damaged after striking a deer on U.S. Highway 71.

10:58 a.m. A dead dog was reportedly spotted in the road on Arkansas Highway 340. Police arrived and found a raccoon.

2:35 p.m. A large TV was dumped on Highlands Boulevard.

11:11 p.m. Police checked on a verbal disturbanc­e that was reported on Gretchen Lane and discovered there was no disturbanc­e, only a loud party.
