Monday, Oct. 9

11:20 a.m. Police received a walk-in report of two stolen drills.

6:45 p.m. A Pentland Drive resident reported returning home after a week to find their side door kicked in. Police secured the residence.

Tuesday, Oct. 10

1:08 a.m. Ricky Burnett, 37, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant at Pontoon Park, just off Chelsea Road near Wandsworth Drive. Burnett’s original charges included driving while intoxicate­d, driving on a suspended license and careless driving.

10:59 a.m. Kayce Mardis, 30, turned herself in on a warrant for contempt of court related to fines and costs, with original charges of leaving the scene of an accident, driving without insurance, careless driving and no driver’s license.

2:09 p.m. A Penny Lane resident reported their neighbor left cockatiels outside squawking all day.

5:24 p.m. A Holcombe Lane resident reported they believed a vehicle on their street was there for a drug deal. Police talked to the vehicle’s occupants, who said they were waiting on someone.

Wednesday, Oct. 11

9:14 a.m. Police received a walk-in report that someone had drugs for sale in Bella Vista on Criagslist. The ad reportedly contained an offer to trade mushrooms for “dank nuggets.” According to the online Urban Dictionary, that term refers to high-grade marijuana.

1:57 p.m. A kayak was reportedly stolen on Loch Lomond.

4:46 p.m. A Hillington Circle resident reported two English bulldogs were stolen.

8:33 p.m. Ashley Weston, 31, was arrested on a Little Flock warrant during a traffic stop near Blowing Springs. Bella Vista police also cited Weston with disregardi­ng a traffic control device and driving on a suspended license.

Thursday, Oct. 12

8:36 a.m. Police checked on reports of speeders and reckless drivers on Sheneman Drive and observed no vehicles on the road.

2:47 p.m. Two males with a gray Mazda were reportedly drinking out of a brown paper bag at Cunningham Corner.

Friday, Oct. 13

8:55 a.m. A pipe was found on Longleat Lane.

3:09 p.m. Kara Cooper, 39, turned herself in on a warrant for failure to appear related to an expired vehicle license charge.

4:44 p.m. A distracted driver in a black Nissan pickup reportedly jumped the median on U.S. Highway 71.

9:47 p.m. Steven Meek, 54, was arrested on a Gravette warrant during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Sunset Drive.

Saturday, Oct. 14

2:40 p.m. A gas tank was reportedly stolen from a boat on the south end of Lake Windsor.

6:09 p.m. Martin Holmes, 28, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to appear related to charges of reckless driving, no proof of insurance and no motorcycle license.

9:07 p.m. A caller complained that people were driving too fast on Sheneman Drive. The caller told dispatcher­s that they knew where the fast drivers were going and may take matters into their own hands. The caller was loud and extremely angry, according to the dispatch report.

11:54 p.m. Michael Hahn, 18, and John Costley, 18, were arrested after the vehicle they were in was found off the road near the intersecti­on of Chelsea Road and Arthur Road. Hahn was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and Costley was charged with minor in possession.

Sunday, Oct. 15

9:04 p.m. Police checked on a vehicle parked on the shoulder near the intersecti­on of Chelsea Road and Highland Road. They discovered the driver pulled over to text someone.

7:24 p.m. Michelle Rich, 41, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicate­d after police checked on a report of a silver SUV all over the road near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Trafalgar Road.

8:36 p.m. The Sonic at Sugar Creek Center received fake currency.
