Monday, Oct. 16

4:57 a.m. Police checked on a burglary alarm at the Sonic in Sugar Creek Center. An employee accidental­ly tripped the alarm while opening.

3:12 p.m. Police asked children to stop running across Commonweal­th Road.

9:29 p.m. Johnathan Mckinney, 24, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug parapherna­lia, both misdemeano­r charges, after a traffic stop near TH Rogers Lumber.

11:14 p.m. Starlynn Hoyt, 46, was arrested and charged with battery in the second degree after police responded to a disturbanc­e on Melissa Lane.

Tuesday, Oct. 17

4:55 a.m. A tractor-trailer reportedly almost ran another driver off the road on U.S. Highway 71, near the intersecti­on with Trafalgar Road.

3:09 p.m. Police removed a large chunk of wood that was reportedly blocking the northbound lane on U.S. Highway 71, just north of Hampstead Road.

Wednesday, Oct. 18

12:56 a.m. Jeffrey Parks, 51, was arrested on an Arkansas Board of Parole warrant for fleeing and theft during a traffic stop on Highlands Boulevard.

2:17 a.m. A silver vehicle was reportedly driving in the wrong lane on U.S. Highway 71.

3:02 p.m. Tammara Holly, 53, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicate­d after a caller reported seeing a potentiall­y intoxicate­d person in a green SUV trying to pull onto Arkansas Highway 340 from Tanyard Creek Pavilion.

7:26 p.m. Firefighte­rs checked on an illegal controlled burn on Knighton Drive.

Thursday, Oct. 19

1:55 a.m. Patrick Duchene, 37, was arrested on Wilton Lane. Duchene had an out-of-town warrant and was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug parapherna­lia.

4:39 a.m. A Haslingden Lane resident reported hearing what sounded like a shotgun shot.

6:30 p.m. A Witherby Drive resident reported their neighbors were playing extremely loud music. Police arrived and heard no music.

Friday, Oct. 20

1:11 a.m. Donna Bolinger, 61, was arrested during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Riordan Road. Bolinger had warrants out of Rogers, Benton County and McDonald County, Mo.

12:54 p.m. A potentiall­y sick, disoriente­d coyote was spotted near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 340 and Dulverton Drive.

2:58 p.m. Firefighte­rs dealt with an unattended controlled burn on Slifer Drive.

7:11 p.m. Police helped to remove a couch from the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 71.

7:23 p.m. Rigoberto Conejo, 36, was arrested and charged with public intoxicati­on after police checked out a report of a black Volvo driving erraticall­y on U.S. Highway 71.

11:06 p.m. Police checked on a pair of cars parked on the Lake Windsor dam. The occupants were there to watch a meteor shower.

Saturday, Oct. 21

2:03 a.m. Brandy Harp, 33, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r charge, as well as felony tampering with evidence after being involved in a disturbanc­e on Sullivan Drive.

10:57 a.m. A Glemsford Drive resident reported someone took several things from their shop.

12:34 p.m. A man with tattoos was reportedly attempting to sell magazines for charity on Charitcher Lane.

3:26 p.m. A caller reported that a truck was sitting in the gravel lot at the end of Trafalgar Road. According to the dispatch log, the caller explained they wanted something done because their friends have gotten in trouble for parking there and it isn’t fair if someone else can park there.

4:34 p.m. A Balsham Lane resident reported a neighbor was recording video of them outside.

6:58 p.m. A set of GMC keys was turned in after someone found them on the Tanyard Creek Nature Trail.

Sunday, Oct. 22

1:07 a.m. Eulises Castello-Cruz, 28, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicate­d during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Cooper Road and Basore Drive.

2:41 a.m. Firefighte­rs responded to a flaming electrical box on Norwood Lane.

8:15 a.m. A red Saturn rolled over on Spanker Ridge Drive.

11:05 a.m. A gray Mazda rolled over near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 279 and Bassingham Drive.

11:37 a.m. An Ealing Circle resident reported their car was keyed.

12:40 p.m. A Buick ended up upside down in the ditch off Chelsea Road, near Brierton Lane.

4:23 p.m. Police had to put down a doe that was struck by a vehicle near the intersecti­on of Glasgow Road and Huskins Circle.

4:56 p.m. Davin Truluck, 44, was arrested and charged with two felony counts of fraudulent use of a credit card when police responded to a fraud call at the Scotsdale Pro Shop. According to the dispatch log, Truluck used his mother’s credit card.

9:20 p.m. Gunshots were reported near Lake Avalon Park.
