Wil­liam ‘Bill’ Paul Dawkins

Wil­liam “Bill” Paul Dawkins, 79, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Oct. 25, 2017. He was born on March 5, 1938, in Dunn Cen­ter, N.D., to Wil­liam Paul Dawkins Sr. and Naomi Grace Boe Dawkins.

He served in the United States Army. He was vice pres­i­dent of Amer­i­can Thai Cham­ber of Com­merce in 1980; on the board of di­rec­tors for In­ter­na­tional School of Bangkok; sales direc­tor for Fire­stone Tire & Rub­ber Com­pany Thai­land 1973 to 1981; com­mer­cial at­taché for Amer­i­can Em­bassy, Bangkok, Thai­land, from 1985 to 1990; and Royal Bangkok Sports Club from 1985 to 2002. He moved to Bella Vista in 2002 from Bangkok. He was a mem­ber of St. Theodore’s Epis­co­pal Church.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; wife, Dianne A. Dawkins; and brother, Barry L. Dawkins.

Sur­vivors in­clude one son, Daniel C. Dawkins of Bella Vista; one daugh­ter, Deb­o­rah Ann Barnes and hus­band Stephan of Spring­dale, Ark.; and four grand­chil­dren, David Dawkins, Stephan W. Barnes, Justin W. Barnes and Syd­ney Elizabeth Barnes.

A Memo­rial Ser­vice will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 1, 2017, at St. Theodore’s Epis­co­pal Church in Bella Vista.
