St. Bernard Catholic Church

Crafts are held at 8 a.m. every Tuesday in the Parish Hall.

The Women's Club will have its annual Holiday Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4. There will be many beautiful handmade holiday crafts and centerpiec­es, along with baked goods and trinkets and treasures. Breakfast and lunch will be served, including chili, chicken soup and homemade pies made by the great cooks of St. Bernard Parish. The raffle this year will include a Christmas Quilt, a 32GB iPad, a Willie-Worry Eater, a porcelain fireplace set with Santa, a needlepoin­t Cardinal tissue box, handmade wood-carved pictures, a handmade yo-yo and a flower basket framed picture.

The Rosary is said at 4:25 p.m. before Saturday night Mass and at 8:25 a.m. before Sunday morning Mass.

Daily morning Mass is celebrated at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Evening Mass is celebrated at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Mass is celebrated at 5 p.m. on Saturdays (Sunday Vigil) and 9 a.m. on Sundays.

Unity Church of the Ozarks

Wednesday class meets at 7 p.m. to discuss “The Intenders,” to set individual goals in the group and recognize the results. The class is followed by a 15-minute meditation.

First United Methodist Church

Midweek Manna meets Wednesdays in fellowship, with a meal starting at 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Suggested donation is $5 per adult, $3 for children under 10 and a family maximum is $15. All are welcome to join for supper, whether taking a class or not. Small group study and small craft and activity groups meet from 6:30 until 7:30-7:45 p.m. Classes include a women's Bible study, technology for senior, elder-care, The Shack, Invitation to the Old Testament, disaster preparedne­ss, Coloring Your Way to Calm, card-making and mosaic crosses. Childcare is available for infants and toddlers. Pre-K through sixth grade will learn Bible basics through Bible stories, memorizati­on of scripture and song. Time for homework is provided. Youth Life, grades 7-12, meets in the Youth Room.

Prayer Shawl Ministry meets from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays in Room 6. It is an hour of visiting and stitching. The shawls are given to shut-ins, those who are grieving and those suffering other circumstan­ces. Each shawl is prayed over and blessed as it is lovingly made.

Friends Plus Healthy Living meets at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays to take a walk and meet in the chapel to share tips on making healthier lifestyle choices and to encourage and uplift one another. A healthy snack is usually shared.

The Chancel Choir and Chancel Handbell Choir need additional members. Bella Vista Baptist Church

Bella Vista Baptist is a multi-generation­al church with weekly activities for children and adults. Sunday morning contempora­ry worship is at 8:30 a.m. in Grace Hall. The Senior Adult Ministries Ice Cream and Movie is at 6:30 p.m. the fourth Friday of the month. All adults are welcome.

Bella Vista Community Church

Worship is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings with coffee fellowship before and after the service. Pastor Cody Ragland will be preaching Sunday, Nov. 5. During the worship service, a staffed nursery is available, as well as children's worship for ages 4-12. Adante Music Club of Bella Vista presents the Bella Vista Women's Chorus, directed by Dr. Larry Zehring, at Highland Christian Church at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. This presentati­on is free and open to the public.

A veterans' concert will be performed by the Monitor Elementary School Third Grade Choir at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9.

In honor of veterans, a chili mixer will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in the fellowship hall. Pots of chili will be combined to make a delicious chili mix. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Highlands United Methodist Men will be sponsoring a

New Life Christian Church

New Life Christian Church offers four weekend services: Saturday at 5 p.m.; Sunday at 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. An ASL-certified interprete­r is available at the 11:30 a.m. service.

New Life Kids' Programmin­g for children, birth to sixth grade, is offered at all services.

Collide, for students in seventh through 12th-grade, is held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the student center.

The church will host a chili cookoff at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12. Everyone is welcome to attend and enter a pot of chili in the contest.

Starting Point is an eight-week gathering in which questions about God turn into a conversati­on about faith. In a Starting Point group, members can discuss doubts and explore the trickiest topics of faith, free from pressure and judgment. Unitarian Universali­sts

The Unitarian Universali­sts of Benton County have moved to 1400 W. Walnut St., Suite 113, in The Quarter Shopping Center, located in Rogers. The Sunday service, which begins at 11 a.m., is preceded by coffee and social time beginning at 10:30 a.m. The subject for the Nov. 5 service is “Blessings.”

Sunday school is available for children with a Unitarian Universali­st adaptation of Jerome Berryman's book, “Spirit Play,” as the primary resource. The morning is structured after the Montessori approach. As in Montessori, the key elements are the classroom environmen­t and the teachers. These elements free the children to work at their own pace on their own activities after an initial lesson.

Village Bible Church

The ladies' Bible study on Philippian­s, led by Joanne Morris, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. Women from the community are welcome to attend and a free study

At 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, a men's Bible study titled “The Church in Prophecy” will meet in the fellowship hall and men from the community are welcome. United Lutheran Church

Highland Christian (Disciples of Christ)

The Bella Vista Amateur Radio Club now offers Amateur Radio license testing through the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). The Amateur Radio Testing sessions will be held at 2 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month at Highland Christian Church. The next testing date is Saturday, Nov. 11. Happening place event is the “Family Christmas Make and Take” from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 2. Carmen Doane will lead this fun event. She will use her talent to help each one attending create a one-of-a-kind Christmas decoration. Each attendee should bring a small set of battery-operated clear lights. Bella Vista Lutheran Church

The Lutheran Hour is broadcast at 12:30 p.m. every Sunday on radio station KURM-FM (100.3) and KURM-AM (790).

Starting Nov. 4, Bella Vista Lutheran Church presents “Saturday Ignite.” The event offers hope and encouragem­ent for life in a casual setting in which people can come as they are. All are invited to join in a free meal, followed by a service that includes modern music with an edge. It all starts at 5 p.m.

Nov. 7 there will be a special worship service for those who are unable to attend a regular worship service. A lunch will be served following the service. Transporta­tion is available by calling the church office at 855-0272.

Men's Bible study meets 1 and 7 p.m. on Mondays.

“Different Strokes for Different Folks” will meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m.

On the third Wednesday of each month, there will be a family video game night. A meal will be followed by family video games for those 6 and older to give children and families a chance to do church-friendly video games in a supervised environmen­t.

GriefShare meets in the church library at 3 p.m. every Thursday.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday. It is collecting items for the upcoming holidays and would like donations of mashed potatoes, canned sweet potatoes, canned pure pumpkin, evaporated milk, canned cranberry sauce, canned green beans and cream of mushroom soup. A container for donations is in the church narthex. Monetary donations are always welcome.

Church Women United will celebrate World Community Day at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at Highland Christian Church, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd. The subject for the gathering is Peace.
