Townhouse Association approves projects
The Bella Vista Townhouse Association board of directors approved a deck on Fairway Drive, a concrete parking pad on Victoria Lane and vinyl siding on Williamsburg Lane during its regular meeting Nov. 15.
The first item on the agenda, a 12-by-16-foot deck on Fairway Drive, was still lacking approval from neighbors and information from the contractor expected to do the work.
The board’s chair, Jack Adams, said the board could approve with conditions.
“If any of those don’t fall, it will come back to us,” he said.
The board agreed and voted unanimously to approve the deck contingent on receiving these items.
The vinyl siding on Williamsburg Lane, which also carried unanimously, was for one of two units in a duplex. The new siding is expected to match the rest of the structure.
The 10-by-26-foot parking pad on Victoria Lane was also approved unanimously after a short discussion.
Townhouse Association general manager David Whittlesey said that this particular townhouse has a single parking pad and a single carport. With this approval, he said, the residents could repave the existing parking pad in addition to adding a second one, giving them a total of three parking spaces.
During his general manager’s report, Whittlesey explained that the unseasonably warm October has meant leaves are falling later, which has caused some delays in leaf cleanup. The cleanup, he said, has entered its third cycle of the season.
Additionally, he said, the association has filled a vacant position and hired an additional grounds worker.
