Friday, Nov. 17

1:41 a.m. Police arrested Misty Arehart, 50, during a traffic stop at the rest area off U.S. Highway 71. Arehart was charged with driving on a suspended license, felony driving with a fictitious tag, driving without insurance and driving with an expired license plate.

6:25 p.m. A Pennine Lane resident reported outside lights and one window were broken.

Saturday, Nov. 18

1:19 a.m. Police helped someone change a tire on U.S. Highway 71.

6:24 p.m. A newborn puppy in a box was turned in to police.

6:42 p.m. Ladonna Ayres, 39, turned herself in on a warrant for contempt of court related to a speeding charge.

9:16 p.m. Police checked on a report of suspicious vehicles at the Tanyard Creek parking lot. Officers found a UPS truck.

9:53 p.m. A campfire was spotted under an Arkansas Highway 340 bridge.

Sunday, Nov. 19

1:35 a.m. Police arrested Christophe­r Rust, 40, and charged him with driving while intoxicate­d after police received a report of a reckless driver on U.S. Highway 71.

12:34 p.m. Police arrested Cynthia Elkins, 40, and charged her with public intoxicati­on after responding to an unwanted person call on Swanage Drive.

4:55 p.m. Joseph Long, 35, was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the third degree and endangerin­g the welfare of a minor when police responded to a disturbanc­e on Smalley Lane.

5:09 p.m. Someone reported a truck parked too close to their car at Harps, which prevented opening a door enough to get a car seat into the vehicle. According to the dispatch report, when the individual in question touched his or her car door against the truck, the truck’s owner slammed his or her door into the car, leaving a dent, then started cussing at the car’s owner.

Monday, Nov. 20

7:27 a.m. A mailbox was reportedly knocked down on Sable Drive.

11:05 p.m. Police checked on a loud noise related to an illegal controlled burn on Allonby Circle. The noise, according to the dispatch report, turned out to be a can of spray paint the resident was unaware of in his burn pile. The fire was put out and the resident was informed of the city’s ordinance for controlled burns.

Tuesday, Nov. 21

3:23 a.m. Bella Vista firefighte­rs worked with the Bentonvill­e Fire Department to put out a mobile home fire on McMillan Road.

4:14 p.m. A possible drunk driver was reportedly driving down Arkansas Highway 340.

Wednesday, Nov. 22

12:30 a.m. Police arrested Clifton Slay, 59, in connection with an out-of-town warrant during a traffic stop on Riordan Road.

5:37 p.m. Firefighte­rs checked on a possible electrical fire on Arnold Lane. No fire was found, but firefighte­rs did discover a faulty breaker box.

9:35 p.m. Firefighte­rs handled a brush fire on Leicester Drive.

11:29 p.m. Police arrested Scott Herren, 54, and charged him with driving while intoxicate­d, careless driving and refusal to submit to a sobriety test.

Thursday, Nov. 23

5:49 p.m. Police arrested Brenton Smith, 29, in connection with an out-of-town warrant during a response to an unwanted person call on Grisham Lane.

7:24 p.m. A bicycle with no reflectors was almost struck near the intersecti­on of Euston Road and Spanker Road.

Friday, Nov. 24

12:45 a.m. Police arrested Deborah Ciulla, 53, during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 279 and Regent Lane and charged her with careless and prohibited driving, driving on a suspended license and driving while intoxicate­d. Ciulla also had a felony warrant out of McDonald County, Mo.

1:23 p.m. Police received a complaint of cars speeding on Wellington Road.

Saturday, Nov. 25

9:56 a.m. A Lindhurst Drive resident requested to speak with police about a scam after receiving a letter claiming to be from the U.S. Census Bureau. Police confirmed the letter was from the Bureau.

7:10 p.m. A Pawle Circle resident reported that a neighbor came over and started yelling at him or her.

8:44 p.m. Police arrested Misty Concannon, 38, and charged her with driving while intoxicate­d during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 340 and Flaxton Drive.

Sunday, Nov. 26

2:04 a.m. Police arrested Joshua Simonton, 36, and charged him with driving while intoxicate­d, careless and prohibited driving and refusal to submit to a sobriety test after responding to a report of a vehicle going into the ravine near Leicester Drive.

2:56 p.m. Firefighte­rs handled a light pole on fire near a Windsor Lane home.

9:05 p.m. Police arrested Carol Jo Russell, 39, and Jonathan Hardin, 32, after responding to a reported disturbanc­e at Casey’s General Store on Forest Hills Blvd. Russell was charged with possession of drug parapherna­lia and carrying a weapon. Hardin was charged with possession of drug parapherna­lia.

11:03 p.m. Shane Dyson, 25, surrendere­d himself to police in connection with a warrant for theft of property.
