Monday, Dec. 11

9:55 a.m. A dog was reportedly barking near Hatcher Drive.

4:44 p.m. Firefighte­rs stopped an illegal controlled burn on Woodbridge Lane. The burning party, according to the dispatch log, was unaware of the burn ban in effect.

Tuesday, Dec. 12

11:23 a.m. Two dogs were reportedly chasing cars near the intersecti­on of Boswell Drive and Shotts Lane.

8:48 p.m. Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at the Lake Bella Vista parking lot. The vehicle’s occupants were advised to get dressed and leave the park.

Wednesday, Dec. 13

12:30 a.m. Donovan Smith, 20, was arrested on two out of town warrants during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Kingsland Road and Trafalgar Road.

11:43 a.m. Police received a report of two people riding motorbikes on the trails near the Lake Ann Dam.

2:22 p.m. Firefighte­rs put out a fully involved structure fire on Basore Drive.

4:03 p.m. Police handled a sick, dying possum on Sandridge Drive.

6:13 p.m. Reed Thompson, 48, turned himself in on a warrant for contempt of court, related to charges of theft by receiving, driving without insurance and no proof of insurance.

7:53 p.m. Rene Qualls, 58, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicate­d during a traffic stop on Mercy Way.

Thursday, Dec. 14

12:21 a.m. Police arrested Philip Brunck, 28, on a Fayettevil­le warrant during a traffic stop on Riordan Road.

5:44 p.m. Police arrested Donna Smith, 52, and charged her with domestic battery in the third degree after responding to a disturbanc­e call on Leicester Drive.

9:48 p.m. Police helped a Slaggford Lane resident get two birds out of his or her home.

Friday, Dec. 15

12:21 a.m. Police arrested Coy Cawood, 44, and charged him with public intoxicati­on at the rest area on U.S. Highway 71.

4:17 a.m. The fire department handled a fully involved structure fire on Shady Lane.

2:42 p.m. Dwinitta Henley, 49, turned herself in on a warrant for failure to appear related to two city ordinance violations.

Saturday, Dec. 16

1:37 a.m. Josue Gonzales, 22, turned himself in on multiple warrants.

10:27 a.m. A Cardinal Road resident reported their shop had been broken into and several items were taken.

11:02 a.m. A generator and tools were reportedly stolen from a constructi­on site on Dolphin Circle. Police set up extra patrols in the area.

7:15 p.m. Police arrested Calvin Corbitt, 38, and Heather Welch, 45, during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Sunset Drive. Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug parapherna­lia.

Sunday, Dec. 17

9:31 a.m. A Taunton Lane resident reported someone stole tools out of their garage.
