Monday, Jan. 8

12:03 a.m. William Byrd, 25, was arrested at the Bella Vista Police Department on a warrant for failure to appear.

9:24 a.m. Hayden Judy, 23, turned himself in on a warrant for contempt of court for supervisio­n violation. The original charges were driving while intoxicate­d and failure to dim headlights.

9:57 a.m. Police received a call about a man in a jacket trying to open a home door on Chapel Lane. Police found the individual in question and, according to the dispatch log, he was a painter who initially walked to the wrong house.

6:16 p.m. Police received a report of a cut window screen on Skye Drive.

10:51 p.m. Police arrested Joshua Mcrae, 30, and charged him with public intoxicati­on at Domino’s Pizza.

Tuesday, Jan. 9

10:36 a.m. Firefighte­rs worked on a joint response for a structure fire on Golf Ridge Road.

6:21 p.m. A Dorking Lane resident reported someone in a small truck lit a roman candle and threw it in his or her yard.

Wednesday, Jan. 10

10:55 a.m. Police received a report that an unauthoriz­ed person was using a dumpster on Bella Vista Way. Police set up extra patrols.

1:34 p.m. Kaerina Gregory, 22, turned herself in on a warrant for failure to appear. Gregory also had a Fayettevil­le warrant.

3:46 p.m. Someone picking up trash near the intersecti­on of Glasgow Drive and Drummore Drive found a soda bottle with used syringes.

9:31 p.m. Police arrested Charles Atwell, 45, on out-of-town warrants after responding to an unwanted person call on Taunton Lane.

Thursday, Jan. 11

2:30 a.m. Police arrested Chad Robbins, 23, and charged him with driving while intoxicate­d and careless driving after responding to a call about a possible drunk driver on U.S. Highway 71.

7:52 a.m. A dryer was stolen out of a carport on Leafield Lane.

8:36 a.m. Police arrested Juan Brache-Mercado, 31, during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of U.S. Highway 71 and Kingsland Road. Brache-Mercado had warrants out of Benton County as well as Jasper County, Mo., and was also charged with driving on a suspended license.

4:32 p.m. Firefighte­rs talked with a resident performing an illegal controlled burn on Neffwood Circle. The resident was informed of the city’s burn ban and the fire was extinguish­ed.

Friday, Jan. 12

9:33 a.m. Police arrested Matthew Hackette, 21, and charged him with two counts of possession of drug parapherna­lia, one felony and one misdemeano­r. Hackette also had an out-of-town warrant.

9:16 p.m. Police arrested Diana Gomez, 53, and charged her with driving under the influence after she was involved in an accident near the intersecti­on of Boyce Drive and Boyce Lane.

Saturday, Jan. 13

1:04 a.m. Kids on skateboard­s were spotted on Commonweal­th Road. Police got them home.

8:59 a.m. Firefighte­rs checked on a burning smell at Branchwood Clubhouse. The smell was coming from a generator for the pool.

Sunday, Jan. 14

1:33 p.m. Someone in a brown truck was driving erraticall­y on Wembly Lane.

9:54 p.m. Police stopped a driver who was headed the wrong way onto a U.S. Highway 71 on-ramp. The driver had gotten lost.
