▲ The Bella Vista Recycling Center is taking (live) Christmas trees at the center, as well as used wrapping paper. The trees should be put in the marked trailer onsite, and the Fly Tyers Club will put the trees in Bella Vista lakes for fish habitat. Used wrapping paper should be placed in the newspaper bins.

▲The Bella Vista Historical Museum is featuring a display by the Bella Vista Woodcarver­s Club. Club members will display pieces in a variety of art-crafts medium using wood as a basis for their work to include full and partial relief carvings, pyrography and intarsia. Bella Vista Historical Museum is located at 1885 Bella Vista Way. Hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday; admission is free. For more informatio­n, call 479- 855-2335.

▲The AARP Smart Driver course reviews current traffic laws, defensive driving techniques and how to operate a vehicle more safely. It also demonstrat­es how to manage and accommodat­e common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Course length is four hours and reservatio­ns are required. Cost to AARP members is $15 (membership card and number required). Nonmember cost is $20. Class location is at Village Insurance, 2860 Bella Vista Way, Bella Vista.
