Bella Vista Lutheran Church

All children, 4 to 12, are invited to a free “Winter Craft Day” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27. This day includes songs, games, crafts, story times and lunch. Children may arrive anytime after 9:30 a.m. Register online at www. bvlutheran.com or call the church office at 479-855-0272.

Village Bible Church

Pastor Mark Voll continues his “The Gospel of Mark” sermon series on Sunday, Jan. 28, with a sermon entitled, “Another Unusual Calling,” with a text of Mark 2:13-17.

Tuesday, Jan. 30, a ladies’ KniTTogeth­er ministry and the White Cross Women’s Mission ministry will meet at 7 p.m. The ladies enjoy informal fellowship while working on projects that benefit needy children and adults in the area as well as a hospital in Congo. All ladies from the community are welcome to join or visit this ministry.

Forest Hills Church

(American Baptist Congregati­on) Forest Hills Church welcomes people of all faiths to worship. Guest speaker Tom Murray will deliver our sermon, “If We Walk in the Light,” from 1 John 1:1-10 on Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m.

Highland Christian Church

The community is invited to meet the new choir director, William Barnett, and join the choir for practice at 4 p.m. each Wednesday.

St. Bernard Catholic Church

There will be a game and pizza-party night for all singles, widowers and widows from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, in the church hall. Admission is $5. All in the Bella Vista community are welcome.

The Knights of Columbus will host a special Valentine’s Day Dinner with social hour starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10. Details will follow soon.

The St. Bernard Book Club meets at noon on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the library to discuss the chosen book of the month. The 2018 book list is complete and available in the parish library. The community is welcome to pick up a copy and join in the discussion.

Unitarian Universali­sts

On Jan. 28, the Resistance theme continues, with reports on the Arkansas UU Justice Ministry, Arkansas UU Cluster, and #UU White Supremacy Teach-in.

Unity Church of the Ozarks

At 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, Elise Cowan presents “I Believe so.” Following the service, at noon, a monthly potluck will be held. The community is welcome to bring a dish and enjoy food and fellowship.
