Bella Vista Wall of Honor offers tours
The Veterans Council of Northwest Arkansas reminds all residents and non-residents that 45to 60-minute tours are available of the Veterans Wall of Honor in Bella Vista.
Since the dedication of the Wall in November of 2004, there have been countless tours given to many groups and individuals. These tours can be set up to enforce the education of school-age children, church groups, civic groups and cater to the interest of many others. Welcome are bus tours from outside the area as well as individual tours.
The mission of the Veterans Council of Northwest Arkansas is to honor and pay tribute to all veterans, living or deceased, beginning with the Revolutionary War 1776 to the present time. The Veterans Wall of Honor is a memorial to reflect on the sacrifices that individuals made to preserve precious freedoms. It is a solemn place for veterans, families and friends to spend quiet time. It is a place of learning the nation’s history with features of timelines, plaques, quotes and flags.
The Wall of Honor also makes a grand venue for many memorial outdoor events such as Veterans Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, 9/11, and Armed Forces Day.
