Monday, Jan. 22

6:46 a.m. A hit and run accident was reported on Sunset Drive.

7:57 a.m. A Warcop Lane resident reported their dog brought a dead cat into the yard. The cat reportedly had something strapped around its neck and appeared to have been abused.

8:20 a.m. Jose Vargas-Manjarrez, 30, turned himself in on a warrant for contempt of court related to fines and costs. The original charges included driving while intoxicate­d, careless driving, no proof of insurance and driving with fictitious tags.

9:18 p.m. Devin Dixon, 23, was arrested during a traffic stop at Cunningham Corner. Dixon was charged with driving while intoxicate­d.

Tuesday, Jan. 23

1:00 p.m. A mail carrier’s parking brake failed, allowing the vehicle to roll into an Abingdon Lane resident’s flowerbed.

10:34 p.m. A woman in jeans and a black shirt was reportedly walking around at Casey’s General Store on Forest Hills Blvd. and putting merchandis­e in her purse.

11:54 p.m. Police arrested Samuel Lewis, 18, and charged him with driving while intoxicate­d during a traffic stop on Lambeth Road.

Wednesday, Jan. 24

9:59 a.m. Police received a report that someone broke into a lockbox for donations at Tanyard Creek Pavilion.

11:48 a.m. Police arrested Tyler Dellinger, 27, on multiple out-oftown warrants during an agency assist call at Cartmel Drive.

5:20 p.m. Police received a report of a potential drunken driver leaving the Jane, Mo., Walmart. The driver reportedly urinated on himself and hit a pole on his way out of the store parking lot.

Thursday, Jan. 25

12:53 a.m. Firefighte­rs responded to a possible chimney fire on Silverton Lane. The fire was out shortly after they arrived on scene.

10:38 a.m. A driver in a teal Honda reportedly struck another vehicle at the Cunningham Corner parking lot and took off.

10:42 a.m. Police arrested Jamie Kusak, 33, after she reportedly drove into the stands in the Sonic parking lot, near Sugar Creek Center. Kusak had an out-of-town warrant.

5:58 p.m. Timothy Morgan, 39, turned himself in on a warrant for 3rd degree endangerin­g the welfare of a minor.

11:54 p.m. Police arrested Mitisha Phillips, 39, during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Oldham Drive and Tavistock Drive. Phillips had a Benton County warrant.

Friday, Jan. 26

7:05 a.m. Police arrested Mandy Conlee, 37, on an out-of-town warrant while responding to a missing person call on Cromer Drive.

8:24 a.m. An injured buzzard was spotted in a Forfar Drive resident’s backyard.

11:06 a.m. Kareem Jobe, 26, turned himself in on a warrant for contempt of court related to fines and costs. The original charge was leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

12:25 p.m. A resident near the intersecti­on of Robin Road and Longview Drive reported a pig in their yard. Police took the pig home to a property on Robin Road, secured its fence and left a note for the owners.

1:27 p.m. Police arrested William Ponton, 73, on a warrant for failure to appear.

8:04 p.m. Police arrested Destini Hicks, 19, on a failure to appear warrant during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Halsham Circle and Wellington Road.

11:11 p.m. Firefighte­rs put out a grass fire on Lonsdale Drive.

Saturday, Jan. 27

5:22 p.m. A three-legged dog was spotted running on Plentywood Road.

8:26 p.m. Lee Gilbert, 39, was arrested and charged with public intoxicati­on after police responded to an intoxicate­d person call at Gusano’s.

Sunday, Jan. 28

2:18 a.m. Police arrested Karen Spencer, 41, during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71. Spencer was charged with careless driving, driving while intoxicate­d and driving with an open alcohol container in the vehicle.
