RUSSELLVILLE — Arkansas Tech University has announced its dean’s list for undergraduate students on its Russellville campus for the fall 2017 semester.
A student must achieve a 3.5-grade-point average or higher and complete at least 12 hours of college-level coursework to be named to the dean’s list. A total of 1,991 Arkansas Tech students achieved that distinction during fall 2017, a 5.2 percent increase over fall 2016. Included in the fall 2017 dean’s list are 754 students that achieved a 4.0-grade-point average.
Bella Vista students on the fall 2017 Arkansas Tech University dean’s list include Tristan Robert Cagle-Trundle, Ryan Allen Fields (4.0), Hanna Christina Gresham, Jacob Lance Holly, Scott A. McKenzie, Joseph Martin Ortiz, Kaden Christopher Ryan (4.0), Kyle Patrick Ryan (4.0), Peyton Kaylee Scott, Ryan Dewayne Scott (4.0), Morgan Nicole Vaughan (4.0) and Noah Cameron Young.

JONESBORO — Arkansas State University released a list of students who were awarded diplomas at the undergraduate and graduate levels during the 2017 fall commencement ceremony Dec. 9 in the First National Bank Arena on campus.
Chancellor Kelly Damphousse conferred a record 1,474 diplomas during the ceremony.
Students from the Bella Vista area receiving diplomas were:
Debra Anne Pschierer, master of science in education, educational leadership;
Natasha Crosby Kile, master of science, early childhood services;
Paulette Denise Pattengill, specialist in education, educational leadership; and
Travis Scott McCloskey, bachelor of science, international business.
