Dorothy G. Lettow-Altfillisch
Dorothy G. Lettow Altfillisch, 98, died March 11, 2018.
She was born in 1919 in Sioux Rapids, Clay County, Iowa, to Jacob Lyle and Hallie Daniel Lyle. She married Leonard C. Lettow in 1941. She moved from Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1983. She spent many years working accounting, tax preparation and insurance. At one point she worked for Fred’s Hickory Inn in Bentonville, Ark. She enjoyed golfing and bridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 28 years; her daughter, Carolyn; and her second husband, Luke L. Altfillisch, whom she married in 1974.
Survivors include her son, Jack (Nancy); one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
A private burial will be held at Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls.
