BELLA VISTA POLICE REPORTS
Monday, March 19
12:30 a.m. Police arrested Michael Applegate, 26, and charged him with domestic battery in the third degree and assault in the third degree after responding to a disturbance call on Yarmouth Drive.
10:59 a.m. Someone found three puppies running loose near the intersection of Kipling Circle and Cooper Road. The pups were taken to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.
6:42 p.m. Police arrested David Weston, 54, and Patty Ward, 52, during a traffic stop near the intersection of Arkansas Highway 340 and Ramsey Drive. Weston was charged with possession of a controlled substance and Ward was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tuesday, March 20
1:00 p.m. Police helped someone who ran out of fuel on U.S. Highway 71.
9:06 p.m. Kids were reportedly yelling obscenities as well as ringing doorbells and running away on Granshire Drive.
Wednesday, March 21
10:13 p.m. A bicycle was reportedly spotted in the bushes alongside Dartmoor Road.
5:10 p.m. A vehicle reportedly ran out of gas in the turn lane at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Mercy Way.
8:34 p.m. Police arrested Justin Bond, 35, during a traffic stop near the intersection of Hampstead Road and Towan Circle. Bond was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless and prohibited driving, driving on a suspended license related to a prior driving while intoxicated charge. Bond also had an out-of-town warrant.
Thursday, March 22
was reportedly speeding down Manchester Drive.
11:07 p.m. Police arrested Whitney Fultz, 29, and charged her with driving while intoxicated and careless driving after a traffic stop at the All in One gas station.
Friday, March 23
4:31 a.m. A Beccles Lane resident reported their neighbor is shooting pellets at their window.
7:34 a.m. Police received reports of burglaries on Pinion Drive.
9:21 a.m. Irving Artis, 57, turned himself in on a warrant for contempt of court related to fines and costs. The original charge was driving with a suspended license.
12:05 p.m. A Pennine Lane resident reported their neighbor was following them and taking pictures of their family and house.
Saturday, March 24
Jeep was reportedly throwing beer cans near the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Riordan Road.
6:07 p.m. Police received a noise complaint about a band playing on Lake Windsor. Police found the band and they agreed to keep it down next time.
11:33 p.m. Police arrested Christopher Williams, 29, and charged him with driving under the influence and careless driving during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.
Sunday, March 25
10:15 a.m. Police received a report of a burglary on Marisco Lane.
11:38 a.m. Police arrested Cynthia Elkins, 40, and charged her with criminal trespassing and public intoxication after responding to an unwanted person call on Swanage drive.
1:48 p.m. Kids on dirt bikes were reportedly riding along Arkansas Highway 340.
