COMMUNITY BAND EVENTS SCHEDULE

The Bella Vista Community Band is holding this year’s first rehearsal from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 16, at the Bella Vista Community Church, located at 75 E. Lancashire Blvd. in Bella Vista.

Practice will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Monday, with the last rehearsal for the summer on Monday, Sept. 24. This year, there will be practice Monday, Dec. 3, and Monday, Dec. 10, for the Christmas program to be held on Sunday, Dec. 16.

The BVCB is always looking for new members. Last year, the band included members ranging in ages from 14 to 95 and some musicians that join have not played in several years. The past few years, there have been numerous high school students join the band, with comments indicating the experience was worth their time and effort. The band is hoping to find new members that play saxophone, low reeds, tuba, trombone and percussion. It is never too late to renew the love for band.

All concerts are held from 7 to 9 p.m. at Blowing Springs Park (unless otherwise noted) in Bella Vista.
