Bella Vista Golf Fest

The second annual Bella Vista Golf Fest is a free event open to golfers throughout Northwest Arkansas. Eight of the largest golf manufactur­ers (Titleist, Foot-Joy, Taylor-Made, Ping, Golf Buddy, Maui Jim Sunglasses, Cobra, and Callaway) will showcase their newest equipment, along with ball and club fitting experts — to ensure golfers are playing with the proper equipment. The Golf Fest is held at the Tanyard Creek Practice Center at 10 Nature Trail Lane and is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 14.

More than 500 golfers are expected to attend Northwest Arkansas’ largest Demo Day. Along with the vendors’ merchandis­e, the Golf Fest will feature free golf clinics, a putting, hitting compliment­ary range balls and drawings for prizes. In addition, guests will experience the latest launch monitors, get to trade in old clubs and shop one-day sales at Bella Vista’s five Golf Pro Shops.

Lions 16th annual Golf Classic

Golfers and sponsors are requested for the 16th annual Gravette High School Lions Golf Classic. The event is set for Saturday, May 5, “Rain or Shine” at the Scotsdale Golf Course in Bella Vista. The classic is open to men and women golfers, and includes a four-person scramble, automatic two-putt, flight after play and pro-drive. There will be a shotgun start at 8 a.m., and lunch will be served after play at the Highlands Club House. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, hole-in-one and longest drive. The cost for the four-person scramble is $70 for those with a seat lease or private cart, and $90 for those without a lease or private cart. Golf fees are included.

Corporate and hole sponsorshi­ps are greatly appreciate­d to support Gravette High School activities. Individual­s or businesses may sponsor a hole with a donation of $100 or more. Corporate sponsorshi­ps may be obtained for donations ranging from $250 to $1,000. Corporate sponsors will receive player entries for two to eight people, depending on the level of donation. Hosted by the Gravette High School Boosters, this golf event is a major fundraiser for drama, music, cheerleade­r, athletic and academic programs for the school. The registrati­on deadline is May 2, and limited to the first 144 registered entries.

Lads & Lassies Golf Tournament

The Lads & Lassies annual golf tournament will be held Saturday, May 12, at the Scotsdale Golf Course. This event is a couples scramble (one man, one woman) with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $60 a team and lunch is included. Prizes will be handed out at lunch. All profits from this tournament will be used for enhancemen­ts and improvemen­ts to the Scotsdale course. Registrati­on forms are available at the golf pro shops. Registrati­on and check should be mailed to Dwight Allsup, 20 Scotsdale Place, Bella Vista, AR 72715. Check should be made out to Lads and Lassies for Scotsdale.

Entry deadline is Friday, April 20, and limited to the first 72 registered teams.

Fun Fore All Golf Tournament

The Bella Vista Courtesy Van’s fifth annual “Fun Fore All Golf Tournament” will be held Friday, June 1, at Kingswood golf course. This year men, women and mixed teams will be welcome for an open four person scramble (2 flights) with a shotgun start. There will be prizes awarded, snacks and water on the course during play with lunch provided at the Kingsdale Pavilion. Hole sponsorshi­ps, both business and individual, are available for $100. Registrati­on forms are available at the golf pro shops or call Jerry Ponder at 479-268-4236 with any questions.

Registrati­on deadline is Friday, May 25, and limited to the first 36 registered teams.
