Monday, April 23

9:33 a.m. Police received a walk-in report from a resident who stated neighborho­od kids stole things from his or her porch and threw them into the woods. Police added extra patrols to the area.

11:32 p.m. Police checked on a vehicle parked at Goodwill. The vehicle's driver was taking a break during a long drive, according to the dispatch log.

Tuesday, April 24

7:18 a.m. Firefighte­rs put out a burning couch on Mildenhall Lane.

10:28 a.m. Several cows were reportedly loose on Chelsea Road.

6:16 p.m. Police received a report of children playing in a manhole on Dogwood Drive.

6:40 p.m. Police received a report of someone riding an all-terrain vehicle on the trail near Weybridge Lane.

Wednesday, April 25

8:00 a.m. A German shepherd was reportedly tearing up trash on Amesbury Drive.

11:47 p.m. Police arrested Ethan Mcferrin, 18, at Tanyard Creek, in connection with possession of a controlled substance, battery in the third degree and resisting arrest.

Thursday, April 26

2:55 a.m. Police received a 911 call from a Britten Circle resident who reported seeing a clown slowly walk into the woods from the street.

1:29 p.m. A Melinda Lane resident reported a cat was shot and killed.

7:31 p.m. Police arrested Jason Hughes, 38, in connection with public intoxicati­on after receiving a call about a possibly intoxicate­d person leaning against the Redbox machine at Walgreens.

Friday, April 27

12:01 a.m. Police received a report of a cow running in the road near the intersecti­on of Chelsea Road and Highland Road.

8:04 a.m. Police received a report from a Harborough Drive resident that someone's dogs were barking at a yard sale.

6:08 p.m. Police talked with a juvenile who was reportedly pointing a toy gun at Britten Circle.

6:14 p.m. Police received a report of a silver SUV dumping trash on Boyce Drive. Police learned children in the truck were throwing trash out the window and helped clean up the mess.

9:50 p.m. Police arrested Michael McTighe, 34, in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug parapherna­lia, intent to deliver and speeding during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.

Saturday, April 28

9:51 a.m. Police arrested Westley Dennis, 29, on a Lowell warrant in connection with failure to appear, during a traffic stop on Cannock Lane. Dennis was also cited for fictitious plates, failure to register and no proof of insurance.

3:14 p.m. Firefighte­rs responded to a structure fire at 3 Cheddar Drive.

8:06 p.m. Police got a report of two cars racing down U.S. Highway 71.

Sunday, April 29

7:02 a.m. Police arrested Randy Ray, 44, in connection with driving on a suspended license and possession of drug parapherna­lia during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Morpert Lane and Wellington Road.

4:07 p.m. Firefighte­rs responded to an oven fire on Brittany Lane. The fire was out by the time they arrived.
