June 10: Discussion of “Beauty As Well As Bread,” homily written by Lissa Anne Gundlach, senior minister, Neighborho­od UU Church, Pasadena, Calif.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is in need of peanut butter, jelly and healthy cereals. It is also asking for the Best Choice barcodes which should be placed in a box by the mailboxes. Other items should be placed in a container in the church narthex.

The church is also collecting “shelf-stable” healthy drinks and snacks to be sent to the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter. A donation box is set up in the church narthex.

The Celebratio­n Choir and orchestra will present “Lift Up Your Eyes” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 10.

Vacation Bible School will be from June 11 to 14 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Register for this event at www.bvlutheran.com.

Unity Church of the Ozarks

Services conducted by the Rev. Elise Cowan take place 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 10, with “God as son/ daughter,” followed by a reception. Standing in Peace takes place after the service as attendees hold the vision to assist in manifestin­g Peace for the world. All are welcome to join in prayer.

Sunday, June 17, Grammy-nominated Lakota performer John Two Hawks will provide music for the 10:30 a.m. service and a “Mindful Class — A Native American Perspectiv­e” in the afternoon. Learn how music, self-talk, true meditation and connection with nature returns you to your center of balance and joy. The class is from 1 to 3 p.m. with a $30 ticket.

Bella Vista Community Church

Summer Arts Camp is 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday, June 18-22, for kids entering grades one through six. Brochures and registrati­on forms are available in the church office or register online at bvcc.net. Registrati­on ends June 11.

Village Bible Church

Guest pastor Eldon Mincks will bring a message entitled “All Things for His Purpose,” with a text of Romans 8:28 at the Sunday, June 10, worship.

The week of June 18-22, Vacation Bible School, “TIME LAB: Discoverin­g Jesus from Eternity Past to Eternity Future,” will be held Monday through Friday evenings, 5:45-8:30 p.m. daily, for children

Highlands Church (United Methodist)

Highlands Church invites all singers to keep singing this summer and join a special choir that will provide the music for the summer months at the traditiona­l worship services each Sunday morning. Rehearsals are once a month, and there are no robes. The Summer Family Choir will rehearse at 9 a.m. in Wesley Auditorium each Sunday.

Bella Vista Baptist Church

The community is invited to share in the fun of Kids On Mission, a summer program for children, ages 3 through sixth grade. The program runs every Wednesday 6 to 7:45 p.m. through Aug. 1.

Presbyteri­an Church of Bella Vista

This month's PCBV Sing-Along at Highlands Rehabilita­tion Center will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 8. The Presbyteri­an Church welcomes all Bella Vista community members to join in singing.
