▲ On Saturday, June 30, new residents can attend a meet and greet coffee at the Bella Vista Country Club from 9 to 11 a.m. New homeowners and renters within the past nine months are invited. This is an opportunit­y to introduce yourselves, meet other new residents of Bella Vista and learn about the amenities. July 3

▲ Independen­ce Day Celebratio­n and Fireworks at Lakepoint on Tuesday, July 3. There will be BBQ ribs, chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs with all the summer fixings plus a drink ticket for wine and/or beer. There will be fun lawn games and entertainm­ent from 6 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show. Ticket sales only $39 per ticket (includes tax and service charge). Parking pass included with ticket purchase. Five percent discount with POA member card and 10 percent discount with member photo ID. Tickets on sale at Lakepoint starting Friday, June 1.

July 4

▲ Happy hour all day long at BV’s, Bella Vista Bar and Grill, with specials in the dining room also: gazpacho soup, pepper steak, tilapia Americana, and apple crisp with ice cream.

▲ The Bella Vista Community Concert Band will have a free concert at Blowing Springs Park from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy great music in the park. Save these dates for future concerts in the park at 7 p.m. on July 17, July 31, Aug. 14 and Sept. 3.

July 26

▲ Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together over coffee to discuss issues and learn more about one another. Village Bible Church, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd. in Bella Vista is the site for the next visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26.

Aug. 7

▲ National Night Out with the Bella Vista Police Department — a chance for the community to get to know BV law enforcemen­t — and they you. Free food, games and more for the whole family. This event takes place between 5 and 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Riordan Hall, 2 Riordan Road in Bella Vista.

Aug. 11

▲ Bella Vista Business Associatio­n will host its first Business Bazaar, which is open to all Bella Vista Business Associatio­n Members to sell and promote their businesses. The Bazaar will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, and will be held at Riordan Hall. Sept. 11

▲ Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together over coffee to discuss issues and learn more about one another. Chaplin Jim Beckwith will discuss the pressures and dangers facing law enforcemen­t today, and Chief James Graves will be available to answer any questions. Village House of Bella Vista is the site for this visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11.
