10:11 a.m. Joseph Thompson, 72, turned himself in on warrants for failure to appear related to traffic violations.

3:35 p.m. Police received a complaint that someone was parking their truck in front of a mailbox on Lancaster Drive.

3:58 p.m. Police arrested Joshua Mcrae, 31, in connection with driving while intoxicate­d and child endangerme­nt in the first degree during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 279 and Camden Road.

Tuesday, July 17

2:25 a.m. Police arrested Garlena Lee, 25, in connection with speeding, driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop at Greenwich Center.

12:49 p.m. Police arrested Ricky Burnett, 38, on a felony warrant at 123 Mayfair Drive.

8:45 p.m. Police arrested Jeffrey Lane, 45, in connection with assault on a family or household member in the third degree, disorderly conduct and public intoxicati­on.

Wednesday, July 18

10:03 a.m. Emergency workers responded to an explosion heard on Melbourn Drive. Firefighte­rs determined the sound was caused by a transforme­r blowing.

2:31 p.m. Evan Quinalty, 40, turned himself in on a warrants for contempt of court related to fines and costs, with an original charge of theft of property.

Thursday, July 19

8:49 p.m. A pack of dogs was reportedly running down Tarleton Lane. The dogs’ owner was issued a warning for dog at large.

10:27 p.m. Police checked on someone in a black truck off Mercy Way. Officers discovered an individual painting stripes on the greenway.

Friday, July 20

7:38 a.m. Bella Vista firefighte­rs responded to a garbage truck on fire near Bella Vista Fire Station 2 on Trafalgar Road.

9:01 a.m. Tina Geeding, 43, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery in the third degree at the Bella Vista Police Department.

Saturday, July 21

12:38 p.m. Police helped someone who ran out of fuel on U.S. Highway 71.

8:08 p.m. Dogs were reportedly running loose on Sorrel Lane.

Sunday, July 22

11:45 a.m. Someone in a white Jeep reportedly ran over a mailbox on Canova Lane.

3:30 p.m. A car was reportedly keyed at Blowing Springs.
