Essentrics opens new studio in Bentonville

- Staff Reports

There’s a new studio in town called Essentrics. What is Essentrics? According to Cindee Johnson’s website, www.cindee johnson.com/home, it is a full-body, dynamic stretching workout that safely shapes and rebalances the body. Essentrics conditions not only the body’s muscles but also the bones, joints and fascia. This unique stretching-in-motion program rapidly creates a long, lean and strong physique with immediate changes to posture. Essentrics’ simple circular movements condition joints, while pacing and sequencing build and strengthen connections between the body and the brain. Essentrics is a safe, easy and effective workout for men and women of all ages.

A student of Cindee’s describes Essentrics as a blend of the best parts of yoga, dance and Tai chi.

Cindee wants to inform people of the healing benefits of the Essentrics workout that simultaneously stretches and strengthens the muscles. Other benefits include reducing joint and muscle pain, increasing flexibility and improving posture, balance and range of motion, as well as enhancing the brain- body connection.

Ramona Cagle with Kangen Water Systems attended the ribbon cutting ceremony and gave the audience a testimonial about Cindee’s classes saying that she recently had a rotary cuff injury and couldn’t move her shoulder without pain. Her mobility came back and her pain left after doing Essentrics. She also stated that she has an increase in energy and is feeling good.

Cindee is a certified instructor and initially had the only studio in Arkansas that offered Essentrics until last fall when two of her students received their certification. Her website is full of information, including class schedules, rates, workshops, events and private sessions, as well as an abundance of life and health coaching information.
