Bella Vista Open

The BV Open will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Highlands and is open to members and nonmembers with a verifiable handicap. The format will be an individually modified Stableford. Players will be pre-flighted by handicap before play. The number of flights depends upon participation. All men will play from the white tees and women from the red tees. Gift certificates will be awarded in both Men’s and Women’s Divisions. Registration and cancellation deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, with a $10 late registration fee (if applicable).

Prostate Cancer Tournament

The Prostate Cancer Tournament begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start on Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Kingswood and Bella Vista Country Club courses. The format will be a four-person scramble and is open to men and women, members and nonmembers. The schedule will begin at 7 a.m. for coffee and doughnuts and to purchase raffle tickets; 8 a.m. shotgun start; and 12:30 p.m. awards and lunch at Riordan Hall. There will be a women’s division, men’s division and mixed division based upon the number of teams. Some divisions may be flighted after play. Couples Nine and Dine

The Couples Nine and Dine is scheduled for Sept. 21 at Scotsdale and Lakepoint for members only. More information on the format, times and flight play will come.

Wall of Honor Golf Tournament

This tournament will be a four-person scramble format with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Kingswood Golf course in Bella Vista. Mulligans and raffle tickets will be available that day. Entry includes a goody bag, door prizes and lunch. Money and prizes will be given out, rain or shine. There is a 36 team maximum (144 golfers). The entry fee is $65 per person. All players are welcome and no POA membership is necessary to enter.
