Chairman’s Cup

The Chairman’s Cup is slated to be held Friday, Nov. 2, at the Bella Vista Country Club course. There will be 8 a.m. coffee and doughnuts, then a 9 a.m. shotgun start following, with a 3:30 p.m. lunch and scoring after play. The format will be a four-person modified Stableford.

Entry fee is $120 per team, $30 per player, plus applicable green/ cart fees. Entry fee includes prizes for the winning team, closest to pin prizes and lunch after play at BV Bar & Grill.

You may register online at bellavista­poa.com/golf or by completing a registrati­on form at one of the Bella Vista POA pro shops or the Golf Division Office.

There is a $10 late registrati­on fee.

Veterans Day Tournament

This is the third annual Veterans Day Golf Tournament slated for Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Bella Vista Country Club/Kingswood. There is a shotgun start beginning at 11 a.m., and at 3:30 p.m. lunch and awards will take place at Riordan Hall. The format is the Lone Soldier with emergency rations allowed. Flighting will be determined following play.

Recognize a veteran by purchasing a memory card for $50 to be placed in the garden around the first tee. All proceeds will benefit the Arkansas State Veterans Home in Fayettevil­le and be used to enhance veterans’ lives through various means.

Entry fee is $240 per team ($60 per player) plus applicable green/ cart fees, and included emergency rations (refer to bellavista­poa. com/golf for details of rations included). Entry fee also includes drinks on course, lunch following play, and flight prizes. If you do not have a foursome, register anyway and you will be paired up. Registrati­on and cancellati­on deadline is 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, with a $10 late registrati­on fee if applicable.
