Ch­eryle Ann Greer

Ch­eryle Ann Greer, 62, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Oct. 29, 2018.

She was born Nov. 23, 1955, in San Diego, Calif., to Richard No­vak and Mar­guerite J. Ben­nett.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band; and a daugh­ter, Tina Greer.

Sur­vivors in­clude her step­fa­ther, John Wood­ward; broth­ers, Wil­liam and Pa­trik Wood­ward; sons, Richard Greer and Christo­pher Greer; and eight grand­chil­dren.

Ray­mond Hostetler

Ray­mond Hostetler, 92, formerly of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sept. 20, 2018, in his Ro­seville, Minn., home sur­rounded by fam­ily.

He was pre­ceded in death by his first wife, Jeanne Hostetler; and his sec­ond wife, Barbara Klad­strup.

Sur­vivors in­clude his three daugh­ters, Va­lerie, Barbara and Lynne; eight grand­chil­dren; and 12 great-grand­chil­dren.

A cel­e­bra­tion of life was held Oct. 7, 2018, at Jimmy’s Event Cen­ter in St. Paul. Minn.

He was in­terred at the Bella Vista Ceme­tery, next to his wife, Jeanne Hostetler, with fam­ily present on Satur­day, Nov. 3, 2018. The Rev. Den­nis Richie of Pres­by­te­rian Church of Bella Vista of­fi­ci­ated.

Doreen My­ers

Doreen My­ers of Bella Vista, Ark., died Satur­day, Oct. 27, 2018, af­ter a long bat­tle with can­cer. She was born in Kings Lynn, Eng­land, on March 24, 1932, one of 10 sib­lings. At a young age, she left school to en­ter the work­force and help sup­port her fam­ily. She en­joyed many U.S. Air Force Base dances in her late teens, where she met and mar­ried Garth in 1951. She made the long jour­ney to the U.S. in 1953 and be­gan her new life. She en­joyed vol­un­teer­ing at the Bella Vista An­i­mal Shel­ter.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 61 years, Garth My­ers.

Sur­vivors in­clude her daugh­ter, Michelle Roedel (John); her son, Steven My­ers; three grand­chil­dren; and long­time friend and com­pan­ion, Tony Chavez.

Sally L. Peter­son

Sally L. Peter­son, 93, formerly of Bella Vista, Ark., died Oct. 18, 2018, at In­n­is­free Care Fa­cil­ity in Rogers, Ark.

She was born in Me­dia, Pa., to Claude G. and Mar­cia S. Lind­berg. She mar­ried Lee E. Peter­son July 1, 1944, at Dixie Lodge on Bal­sam Lake, Wis.

She was a home­maker while her hus­band prac­ticed den­tistry. They re­tired to Bella Vista in 1984. Her in­ter­ests in­cluded golf, bridge, read­ing, art and ser­vice to the United Methodist Church.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 55 years, Lee Peter­son; one brother, John; and her par­ents.

Sur­vivors in­clude her chil­dren, Gre­gory (Cathy) of Win­dom, Minn., An­drew (Jeen) of Toronto, Canada, Brian (Cheri) of Inola, Okla., and Cather­ine Haar (Robert) of Clark­ston, Mich.; two sib­lings, El­iz­a­beth Flint of West­port, Conn., and Colin Lind­berg (Ce­celia) of Burling­ton, Vt.; six grand­chil­dren; and two step-grand­chil­dren.

A me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at 10:30 a.m. Fri­day, Nov. 9, 2018, at First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista, of­fi­ci­ated by the Rev. Jeanne Wil­liams and the Rev. Brenda Wide­man. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends be­fore and af­ter the ser­vice. Burial of ashes will be at Fayet­teville Na­tional Ceme­tery.

Bobby Eu­gene Richard­son

Bobby Eu­gene Richard­son, died Mon­day, Oct. 29, 2018, af­ter a long bat­tle with de­men­tia, Parkin­son’s, COPD and RA.

He was born Sept. 12, 1935, in Florence County, Ala. He served in the U.S. Army Sig­nal Corp. dur­ing the Korean War. He met his wife of 59 years, Sue, in Dal­las, Texas, and af­ter a ca­reer with Sun Oil, he moved to Ar­kan­sas and founded ADS Prop­er­ties. He was a mem­ber of New Life Chris­tian Church of Bella Vista. He en­joyed fish­ing and lake ac­tiv­i­ties.

He was pre­ceded in death by his mother, fa­ther, brother and both sis­ters.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife, Sue; son, Don­ald Eu­gene; and two grand­chil­dren.

Ser­vices will be held at 11 a.m. Wed­nes­day, Nov. 7, 2018, with visi­ta­tion 10-11 a.m. at New Life Chris­tian Church, 103 Rior­dan Road, Bella Vista.
