Monday, June 24

6:38 p.m. Someone turned in two puppies at the animal shelter after they were reportedly dumped in a neighborhood.

10:24 p.m. Police arrested Barbara Sheller, 38, in connection with driving while intoxicated after responding to a traffic complaint about a vehicle driving into a ditch and then back onto the road near the intersection of Rogers Road and Highlands Road.

Tuesday, June 25

10:20 a.m. A Brucker Drive resident reported a snake on their back deck.

12:18 p.m. Police arrested Courtney Wardwell, 38, on a warrant for failure to appear related to a charge of endangering the welfare of a minor at the Bella Vista Police Department.

2:03 p.m. Police arrested Michael Kubicek, 29, in connection with domestic battery in the third degree, terroristic threatening, criminal mischief and theft after responding to a disturbance call on Leicester Drive.

Wednesday, June 26

12:48 a.m. Police arrested Christopher Day, 45, in connection with disregarding a traffic control device and refusal to submit during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.

6:13 a.m. a vehicle break-in was reportedly attempted on Allington Drive.

8:59 p.m. Police arrested Brandon Mahoney, 21, on out-of-town warrants during a traffic stop at Sugar Creek Center.

Thursday, June 27

3:49 a.m. Police convinced a family of raccoons near the U.S. Highway 71 and Arkansas Highway 340 on-ramp to go back into the woods.

8:30 p.m. Police received a report of a van window cracked by someone with a BB gun on Merritt Circle.

Friday, June 28

1:07 p.m. Police received a walk-in report of a stolen grill.

9:53 p.m. Police arrested John Daniel, 43, in connection with felony possession of firearms by certain persons, and Jamie Collette, 41, in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.

12:43 a.m. Police arrested Reyes Ayala-Rodriguez, 40, in connection with driving on a suspended license and on out-of-town warrants at a traffic checkpoint near U.S. Highway 71.

12:57 a.m. Police arrested Justin Eaton, 43, in connection with driving while intoxicated at a traffic checkpoint near U.S. Highway 71.

1:14 a.m. Police arrested Jeremy Long, 37, in connection with driving while intoxicated at a traffic checkpoint near U.S. Highway 71.

1:22 a.m. Police arrested Nicholas Cragle, 27, in connection with driving while intoxicated at a traffic checkpoint near U.S. Highway 71.

1:59 a.m. Police arrested Daniel Swisher, 32, in connection with driving while intoxicated at a traffic checkpoint near U.S. Highway 71.

10:41 p.m. Fireworks were reportedly set off near the Lake Ann boat ramp.

5:36 p.m. Police received a call about an “older gentleman” parked in the middle of Oldham Road and shoveling gravel.
