Carol Joan ‘Jo’ Baldwin
Carol Joan “Jo” Baldwin, 66, of Bella Vista, Ark. died Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark.
She was born April 30, 1953, in McDonald County, Mo., to the late Cecil and Viola (Hendricks) O’Brien. She worked for 29 years at the Walmart Home Office in Bentonville. She enjoyed going on vacations, hosting parties and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Charlene Harris.
Survivors include her son, Andrew Baldwin and partner Kristen of Centerton, Ark.; four sisters, Linda Slagle of Goodman, Mo., Katherine Spencer of Stella, Mo., Laura Frossard and Sandra Cole both of Seneca, Mo.; a brother, Cecil O’Brien of Anderson, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home.

Julia Harrison Cavness
Julia Harrison Cavness, 89, of Bella Vista, Ark., died peacefully Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark.
She was born March 30, 1930, to Luther and Tommie Lee Harrison in Bentonville. She was a 1948 graduate of Bentonville High School and attended Stephens
College in Columbia, Mo. She returned home to work for her father at Harrison’s 5¢ and 10¢ on the town square and married Jack William Cavness in 1951. She was employed at the state capitol in Jefferson City, Mo., and at Avila College in Kansas City. She enjoyed family travels and playing bridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years, Jack, October in 2013; and siblings, Ed, Tom, Mary Helen, William, Dora Catherine and Roy.
Survivors include her two sons, Jack Harrison Cavness (Debbie), Jared William Cavness (Pamela); and three grandchildren.
A memorial service and interment was held Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at Bentonville Cemetery.

Earl Leon Cummings
Earl Leon Cummings, 85, of Bella Vista, Ark., died on July 27, 2019.
He was born in Howe,
Neb., to George and Leola Cummings on Aug. 2, 1933. He was a graduate of Auburn High School in Auburn, Neb., and married Mary Ellen Brown in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army and then was employed with Unysis for 30 years before retiring and moving to Bella Vista. He was involved in First United Methodist Church and the computer club in Bella Vista, where he taught classes and repaired friends’ computers.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years; his parents; a brother, Lloyd; and two sisters, Georgia Reid and Karen Cockerill.
Survivors include his wife, Bette Ann Coulter Cummings of the home; a son, Douglas William (Barbara) Cummings of Chesterfield Township, Mich.; two daughters, Carla Renee (Nathan) Mitchell of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Peggy JoEllen (Rod) Walls of Macungie, Pa.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Roger (Paula) of Independence, Mo., and George IV (Nadine) of LaFeria, Texas; two step-daughters, Jodi Kimball of Houston, Texas, and Lisa (Brad) Strittmatter of LaVista, Neb.; and four step-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, at First United Methodist of Bella Vista.

Robert F. (Bob) Morgan
Robert F. (Bob) Morgan, 86, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville, Ark.
He was born in Sioux City, Iowa, on Sept. 19, 1932, and graduated from Central High and Morningside College there. He spent four years in the Air Force Military Air Transport Service. He married Mary Jane Carnes in August 1960 and spent 32 years in pharmaceutical sales in the Quad Cities, Iowa side, after which he retired to Bella Vista in 1995.

Bonnie Lou Quednow
Bonnie Lou Quednow, 87, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 2, 2019.
She was born Oct. 27, 1931, in Topeka, Kan., to Albert S. Gordon and Gladys M. Anderson Gordon. She moved to Bella Vista in 1991 from Cincinnati, Ohio, with her husband. She was a member of Bella Vista Lutheran Church and LWML.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Arthur D. Quednow; and brother, Orville Gordon.
Survivors include one son, Scott Michael Quednow of Stokesdale, N.C.; one daughter, Karla Sue Quednow of Prairie Grove, Ark.; one sister, (Opal) Maxine Schuetz of Olathe, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at Bella Vista Lutheran Church.

Mildred Shriner
Mildred Shriner died June 5, 2018, in Bella Vista, Ark. She was born in Sigourney, Iowa, to James and Margaret Ramey.
A son, Glen Allen, preceded her in death.
She was survived by husband, Leon; son, Patrick and his wife Margo of Naples, Fla.; granddaughter, Stephanie McGlynn and great-grandchildren, Jack, Morgan, Henry, and Charlie of Lake Bluff, Ill.

Leon H. Shriner
Leon H. Shriner was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Lake Park, Iowa, and died in Naples, Fla., on Feb. 19, 2019. He graduated from Iowa State College and served in the 3rd Army in WWII. He married Millie Ramey in 1951. He retired from 3M in 1986 and moved to Bella Vista.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Millie Shriner; and son, Glen Allen Shriner.
He is survived by son, Patrick and his wife Margo of Naples, Fla.; granddaughter, Stephanie McGlynn; and four great-grandchildren, Jack, Morgan, Henry, and Charlie, all of Lake Bluff, Ill.
The family held a private service.
