Patricia (Pat) A. Coats
Patricia (Pat) A. Coats, 99, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 25, 2019.
She was born July 14, 1920, in Bouton, Iowa, to John B. and Alice O’Malley. She married James H. Coats Oct. 23, 1943. After federal service during World War II, she devoted her time to raising her family. They moved to Bella Vista in 1985 after living in St. Louis and Mexico, Mo.; Moline and Rock Island, Ill.; Des Moines, Iowa; Trenton, Mich.; and Pelham, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James, on Oct. 31, 2011.
Survivors include her son, John B. Coats (Pam) of Bella Vista; daughter, Julie A. Holt of North Attleborough, Mass.; and three grandchildren.
Mass of the Resurrection was held Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, One St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista, AR 72715.
Memorials may be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Marie (Kreiser) Emrick
Marie (Kreiser) Emrick, 87, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019, at her home.
She was born Sept. 9, 1931, in Mendota, Ill., to Earl and Violet (Stevenson) Kreiser.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Charles Jr. and Joseph Emrick.
She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Emrick; two sons, Kenneth Emrick, Donald Emrick; one sister, Lois Edgecomb; and five grandchildren.
No services are planned, per her request. She will be interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, near Chicago.

Dale C. Newman
Dale C. Newman, 90, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, after battling congestive heart failure.
He was born Oct. 20, 1928, at Lake Andes, S.D., the son of Roy and Ella (Brusseau) Newman.
Funeral services will be held at the American Lutheran Church in Tolna, N.D. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, S.D., with military honors by the U.S. Marine Corps.

Roger Kent Wierick
Roger Kent Wierick, 61, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019, at Circle of Life Hospice House located in Bentonville, Ark.
He was born July 9, 1958, in Bentonville to Martha Bland and Ben C. Wierick. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, basketball and traveling. He worked in construction for many years specializing in pattern concrete. He was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his fiancée, Teresa Ware of Bella Vista; mother, Martha Wierick of Rogers, Ark.; one brother, Ron Wie rick( Julie) of Rogers; sister, Donna Lane (Kent Richardson) of Rogers.
A celebration of life was held Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, at First Christian Church of Rogers. Burial followed at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
