Bella Vista Baptist Church

Brent Summerhill launches a series from the Great Commission: “For The Gospel” at the Bella Vista Baptist Church, 50 East Lancashire Blvd., this Sunday, Feb. 16.

Highland Christian Church

All are invited to the Highland Christian Church events as follows:

Saturday, Feb. 15, the men will meet for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall.

Sunday, Feb. 16, a fellowship meal of covered dishes will follow the morning service.

Tuesday, Feb. 18, there will be a Grief Support class, led by Pastor Skip at 11 a.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 19, Vivian Keller will lead a bible study in the fellowship hall at 10 a.m.

Forest Hills Church

Forest Hills Church welcomes all to Wednesday, Feb. 12, Bible study on Psalms at 12:30 p.m., followed by Rockin Readers, an inspiratio­nal book club, at 1:45 p.m.

Highlands Church (United Methodist)

UMW After Hours now meets every fourth Thursday for Bible study and fellowship with the Highlands United Methodist Women who host a monthly evening retreat of spiritual growth and mission outreach for the women of Bella Vista and Highlands Church. The next retreat will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 in the fellowship hall.

The next blood drive organized by HUMMERS (Highlands United Methodist Men) is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 18. Free cholestero­l screening is offered. Please eat well and drink plenty of fluids prior to the blood drive. Photo ID required.

Bella Vista Community Church

• Adult Sunday School: Sundays from 8:30-9:15 a.m.;

• Men’s Fellowship Group: Mondays from 8-9 a.m.;

• Ladies Koffee Klatch: Thursdays from 9:30-11 a.m.;

• Community Life Groups: various days/times.

During the season of Lent, BVCC offers Lenten Soup Suppers and Meditation­s held in McKay Hall each Wednesday, Feb. 26 through April 1. Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. Meditation­s begin at 6:20 p.m. Suggested donation is $3/person or $5/family.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church

Pastor Hass leads an “Inquirer’s

Class” on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. This is an opportunit­y for new members (or current members who want a refresher course) to learn about what it means to be a Lutheran and about Bella Vista Lutheran Church.

Shepherd’s Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. A container for donations is in the church narthex.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church welcomes area residents and visitors to some of its hosted activities: 8:30 a.m. Feb. 12 The Quilters; 9:30 a.m. Feb. 13, Stitched With Love; and the Silver Needle Quilters meet at 1 p.m. Feb. 17.

Presbyteri­an Church of Bella Vista

Have you made a resolution to be more active this year? PCBV’s exercise class meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8 a.m. for stretching and low-impact exercise, using a chair or a mat. For more informatio­n, call the church office at 479-855-2390.

Village Bible Church

Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in our area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragem­ent of our friendly volunteers.
