Readers assemble

We’re starting a new book club for children who love to read. Come by the library on the second and fourth Monday of the month at 4 p.m. to read with friends. No monthly book is required. The club is for ages 8 and up.

Tech Time

Join adult services librarian Amanda Gibson on the third Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. for a monthly feature on various technologi­es. For February’s session, she will be discussing Hoopla, a service which allows you to access movies, audiobooks and more.

True Crime Club

Meet with other true crime fanatics on the third Thursday of the month at 3 p.m. to discuss various true crime cases and criminals. Each month, there will be a new theme. In February the club will discuss Ted Bundy.

Teen Night: Partners In Crime

Join us on Friday, Feb. 21, at 5:30 p.m., for Teen Night. Team up with like-minded teens to surmount wild and exciting challenges. You’ll have to work together to win the game. Ages 13-17 only. Please note that the library is closed during the event. To ensure the safety of teens, no one will be permitted in the library and no library business will be conducted.

Social Security Seminar

David Harris of Voya Financial will be at the library at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, for an educationa­l seminar on Social Security.

Medicare Seminar

Lori Johnston of Seniors Benefit will be at the library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, for an educationa­l seminar on Medicare benefits and changes in 2020.

Encore books

Bella Vista’s only bookstore has a wide selection of books, movies and more for all ages. You can’t beat Encore’s prices! Stop by during regular library business hours.

Hours of operation and website
