Timothy Paul Bogan

Timothy Paul Bogan, 71, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, July 6, 2020.

He was born Dec. 19, 1948. He was a United States Air Force Vietnam War veteran and retired USDA federal inspector, where he worked for 34 years. He married his first wife, Tamara Dee Bogan, who was born Dec. 14, 1951. She graduated from the University of Louisiana with a doctorate in veterinary medicine and preceded him in death in June 2015.

He was also preceded in death by his father, John Bogan; mother, Donna Dorothy Downs Bogan; stepmother, Margaret Bogan; and two brothers-inlaw, Brad Richards and James Allen.

Survivors are his wife, Constance Susie Bogan of Bella Vista; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Kimberly Simpson, of Des Arc, Mo.; and sisterin-law, Kathy Richard of

Lebanon, Mo.

A memorial service was held Saturday, July 11, 2020, with military honors by the United States Air Force and the Rogers VFW Post 3031 at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel with John Donald officiatin­g. Private committal service will be held at Fayettevil­le National Cemetery at a later date.

David B. Caldwell

David B. Caldwell, 73, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Mercy Medical Center.

He served in the United States Navy.

Survivors are his wife, Judith Caldwell; two sons, John and David Jr.; and two granddaugh­ters.

A graveside service was held Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Bella Vista Cemetery.

Arnold Frederick Larson

Arnold Frederick Larson, 94, died Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Red, as he was called, was born in Rochester, Minn., March 5, 1926, and re- sided there until 1991. At that time, he moved to Bella Vista. He was mostly known for his proprietor­ship of Larson’s Standard Service, a business in downtown Rochester for nearly 30 years. He served in the United States Navy. He was also known both in Rochester and Bella Vista for his enthusiasm on the golf course.

Survivors are his wife, Bonnie Larson; and his only child, Richard Larson of Newark, Ohio.

Elizabeth Bell Smith

Elizabeth “Betsy” Bell Smith, 85, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, July 5, 2020.

She was born Aug. 25, 1934, in Blythevill­e, Ark., to James and Margaret Bell. She was a public school teacher. She was a resident of Bella Vista since 1990 and a member of PEO and the Presbyteri­an Church of Bella Vista. She served on the Village House Board and volunteere­d with Washington Regional Hospice and the Bella Vista Public Library.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Smith.

Survivors are her sons,

Rob Smith (Cynthia) of Greer, S.C., Stewart Smith (Laura) of Little Rock, Tom Smith of Bella Vista; and four grandchild­ren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. The final resting place will be Bella Vista Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Presbyteri­an Church of Bella Vista or the Bella Vista Public Library.

David B. Wilkins

David B. Wilkins, 72, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, July 4, 2020.

He was born Aug. 31, 1947, in St. Louis, Mo. He served in the United States Army from 1982 to 1993.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Katherine Wilkins.

His survivors are his wife of 28 years, Kathryn Wilkins; son, Tyler Wilkins of Wylie, Texas; daughter, Nissa (Scot) Gordon of Sanger, Texas; stepson, Christophe­r (Katie) Apley of Omaha, Neb.; stepdaught­er, April (Monte) Kerchal of Waverly, Neb.; brothers, Dennis (Linda) Wilkins of Bella Vista, Charles (Kami) Wilkins of Tumwater, Wash.; sisters, Kim Raney of Omaha, Neb., Tami Salinas of Bella Vista; and 11 grandchild­ren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at New Life Christian Church.
