Monday, Feb. 8
9:21 p.m. Police received a report of somebody trying to sell drugs on Tilbury Lane.
Tuesday, Feb. 9
2:19 a.m. Police arrested Gary Cannady, 53, on out-oftown warrants during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.
5:02 p.m. Police responded to a traffic accident on Earby Lane with a vehicle in the ditch. A tow vehicle was unable to recover the vehicle immediately because of a downed power line.
Wednesday, Feb. 10
8:07 a.m. Police received a call about several vehicles off the road near the intersection of Cooper Road and Hatcher Drive.
9:45 a.m. Police arrested John Rolsma, 56, on a warrant for failure to appear during a traffic stop at Sugar Creek Center.
Thursday, Feb. 11
5:28 p.m. Emergency workers responded to a traffic accident on Manchester Drive, where a vehicle slid off the road and into a power pole.
8:29 p.m. Police helped a
Grisham Drive resident whose dog was stuck in the mechanism for a recliner. According to the dispatch log, the caller was afraid moving the chair would cut off the dog’s foot.
Friday, Feb. 12
6:30 p.m. Firefighters checked on a potential structure fire on Deddington Drive after someone reportedly saw flames coming from the chimney. On further investigation, there was no fire.
11:16 p.m. Police arrested Ferrara Luigino, 38, in connection with driving while intoxicated, refusal, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.
Saturday, Feb. 13
2:34 p.m. Police received a complaint of someone in a white sedan “racing circles around McDonald’s and honking” near the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Benton County Road 40.
10:32 p.m. Police checked on a potential breaking and entering on Kildonan Lane. Officers were unable to locate anything unusual.
