Keith LeRoy Wiggins age 92 of Medina, Minnesota passed away on March 9, 2021, at Good Samaritan Society in New Hope, Minnesota after a brief illness.

Keith was born on April 18, 1928, in the small, rural town of Keswick, Iowa. He graduated from Keswick High School, entered the Navy in 1946, then attended Iowa Wesleyan University, and graduated from the University of Iowa with an Accounting major in 1952. During this time, he was an excellent basketball player being a member of his high school team that went to state finals and only losing one game during the season as well as playing in the west coast league while serving in the Navy. After graduating from college, his career included grain plant management and working in grain procuremen­t and futures while employed by General Mills in Minneapoli­s followed by Central Soya in Belmond, Iowa; Fort Wayne, Indiana; and at the Board of Trade in Chicago. He retired to Lauderdale Lakes, Wisconsin; Bella Vista, Arkansas; and Medina, Minnesota. He was an avid golfer throughout his life and enjoyed boating and model building. Keith was known for his cheerful dispositio­n, positive outlook, and a keen sense of humor.

Keith leaves behind his devoted wife Sharon (Samuelson) Wiggins, daughter Kim (Gary) Bartholoma­e of Radcliff, Kentucky and sons David (Alexandra) Wiggins of San Diego, California; Steven Wiggins of Ottawa, Illinois; and Daniel (Twila) Wiggins of Lakeville, Minnesota. He was the beloved grandfathe­r of Amanda (Tom) Pazdan, Kelsey Wiggins, Eric Williams, Heather Wiggins, Presley (Tanner) Johnson, Garrett Wiggins, Ryan Wiggins, Matthew Wiggins, and Maya Wiggins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Keith is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Vivian (Hoyt) Wiggins, former spouse Sarah (Larson) Wiggins, and his sister Frances Gena “Jean” (Wiggins) Drake.

A military burial service will be held at Fort Snelling in Minneapoli­s on April 12, 2021, at 2:00 with a celebratio­n of his life immediatel­y afterward.
